so the slobalt is back together, new clutch is amazing but going in to 3rd is testy some times. and i started here a clunking coming from the front ride side. it had gotten worse yesterday and this morning. so durinng my lunch, i popped the right tire off and what do you know the sway bar end link where it attaches to the strut was loose. so i started tightening it... 5 minutes later i pull the socket off and the nut barely moved... so i marked the stud and tightened againg pulled socket off the mark moved... so i kept repeating this untill it snugged up... 20 minutes later. so i just order the moog endlinks and hopefully they will be here soon.

it surprised me, my buddy with a 06 gto 6.0 6spd from a 30, 40 and 60 roll would only pull a car and a half on me and upwards of 110 i start catching up. we tried a couple 20s too a couple nights ago and it was bad. his rear end sliding all over the place and my front end hopping all over the place... i think in second the wheel hop is worse, im getting the timing down to where i dont hop in second now though... the travel on this clutch is limited. i dont understand why people say cobalts are slow... im mean its not like they are like ERMYGERD super fast. but, still for the little amount ive put into mine.... its pretty respectable. its also one of the smoothest riding lowered cars ive owned... previous cars 94 saturn sl2, 95 eclipse gsx, and 03 focus svt. also no squeaks or clunks either. well besides the endlink. the worse was probaly my old gsx, the thing rode like **** and rattled and squeaked..... and it turns heads more then almost anyother car... because its nice and quiet at idle then when you mash the go pedal the m62 says hello

Finally for to see the wheels I want in person varrstoen v3 18x9.5+30 looked so good.

 

those are nice... i need to see about picking up some 17s for some drag radials or slicks... i needs tractions, i checked how long i could keep them spinning, and it was cold and these kdws hate cold... and kept the left one spinning until about 65... i needs a lsd too :/
