sorry guys...dad had a last minute change of heart and wanted to go to dallas raceway. but, i got his car tuned and it is sick!!! 21psi and pulls hard! i suggest all of you lnf guys get the trifecta tune, its cheap and lots of power. if you want the guys contact info pm me, its quick if you're pressed for time even.

 

Man you guys missed out, I had a blast. I have the trifecta tune and loved it. We got some free passes, and found out that you can get them at any toyota dealer. I am definitely going again next week. I made it up to the 3rd round before getting knocked out by an evo that was way over modded for our class. If he wasn't there I would have had a damn good chance of winning. I beat a Csrt-4, G8, LS1 trans am, and 2 pretty quick starions and one of them were on slicks. I don't know why 3 of the cars in our class had slick or DR's and were not bumped up a class like the rules say. But all in all it was fun and I will go again. So lets start for round 2 of a meet out to TMS. The show seemed to be pretty cool and if you don't want to race, you can get a free pass and just park your car with the show and have premium parking. The track IMO hooked great for street tires.

Only 5 of us made it out, Me, Skitz, CleverOne, Johnboy12358, and nickr, and only me, nickr, and Johnboy12358 raced. If we had more we could have dominated our class as long as they didn't put us against one another in the first round.

 

Yea, it was alot of fun, i am def going next week and racing this time. Was good meeting you guys.

Then i got the run the almighty STOCK evo, all in all it was a blast though.

Oh and RBC sorry i couldnt make it to the whataburger, some of my friends had to get home cause they had work :P

 

Its no biggie, I understand. That EVO was ridiculous and would have been fast than pretty much any car in the class above us. He definitely put us turbo cobalts to shame.

 

Yeah if they continue to do this they are going to have to get some people that actually know something about cars.

Because it just wasn't fair at ALL. I would like to see that evo race that srt4 though hahahha

I would say go the the tms website and leave some feed back. This will indeed change the way they set up the classes next week, I will I assure you. Things were all types of F'd up!

I'm planning on trying to make it out this friday too, that was a ball. Although, this was the first time that I saw how BADLY i need cooling upgrades! and traction... I was quite surprised at how well I did against some of the cars out there, but that STI made me look like n00bsauce...

I heard if you go to a toyota dealer you can get some free passes. If I can get in free I will be going to all 6 events.

I plan to. I got my free pass for next week from a guy that worked at a dealer. He had a fat stack of them during the race. I should have tried to get more than just one.

Yeah, I may try and go by the toyota/scion dealer this week and get some passes. do the passes get you in for racing or just general admision?

 

the ticket is for show and shine and racing.

 

I wanted to race that GT! The passes will not work for general admission, but will get you race and show. They will save you $30 if you wanted to do both.
