would there be any interest in planning a big ol ecotec meet in the southern TN, northern MS area?? memphis and such or anywhere in the general area honestly. i would absolutely LOVE to get something going one day as im one of only 5 cobalts/hhrs in the area.

what do you guys think?? what would be the best city to do something like this at that works best for everyone travel distance wise?

 

I'm in East texas but id make the drive depending on where. Granted my lsj car isnt done. But I'd qualify for the silliest, most ratchet, laughing stock chitbox ion out there! Lmao
I think its only like a 8 or 9 hour drive to northern MS for me. Cake walk. I've driven further to pick up parts and turn around to go right back home

Ive got a buddy in Kentucky and another in northern Illinois whose working on a midwest meet.
I'm sure they would be down.

 

The Tail of the Dragon Meet is in October. I know its a litt further then Memphis, but usually there are people from Florida, Canada, Illinois NY/NJ. It gathers a pretty decent group, it might be a little smaller this year, but it has always been a great time.

i know the super chevy show is in october also and i definitely plan on going to that but its not a specifically cobalt, ion, etc event that i would love to make happen.

 

Im def down for a local meet around west tn/ north ms, east ar. I do plan on also going to totd in October too. you should look into it as well.

I live in Norfolk VA its abotu 10ish hours drivng to TOTD. Or did you mean where are we staying at TOTD? Usually I stay with the Ecotec Nation group. I don't where we are actually staying yet.

Where about are you located? Im in west tn. The local car group I'm in attends a few events throughout the year and some cars and coffee events. One being down in Corinth. We also go to the Nashville one from time to time so there is a few places we could do a double meet.

 

im in memphis. i know of lots of meets and events all over but its usually just random cars of all sorts. its really nice and all but its not what i would like which is an all ecotec meet. cobalts, ions, kappas, whatever!

 

True, its gonna be hard to get a big group but id like to try for sure. The Nashville meet usually has a couple cobalts and hhrs attend but idk who they are. Here in Jackson there is only my lnf and one other guy with a lsj that I know personally but he is busy doing a build on his. I've seen a white cobalt decked out in a body kit and a red hhr ss that both work near where I live but idk who they are.

 

same! theres me and one guy with a hhr. then theres some other random balts i see around at the mexico meets but i dont really know them. they usually just stick to their "club" and dont really mingle lol
