ok who is down for going to the denton track this Friday? im going along with a buddy of mine who just bought a mustang. he has a bunch of guys going as well and im inviting some others. it should be a pretty good showing. its $10 if youre racing and you get as many runs as you want on the 1/8 mile track. lemme know!

it's actually "sanger" but it is a nice track. its about 15 minutes north of tms.

 

I've heard mixed reviews. I can't remember if that was the track where they had water all at the staging area, or was that kennedale?

 

its a pretty good track, its where i ran my 9.2. best i got at kennedale was 9.4.
anyway the test and tune starts at 7pm and that is $10 admission and $5 for a tech card. the street wars start at 11pm and go to 1am and that costs $10 to race or watch. im thinking about going out there around maybe 9pm. if i change my mind ill announce it.
what is good for everyone? maybe we can all meet up somewhere and then head out there together...

My CEL came on AGAIN, going to make a quick run to the dealership to see if they have an updated reflash, then I'm waiting for the ******** at SpeedTek to see if they have my little performance goodies delivered yet. So Pizza around 6:30 at NTSR_SS then a caravan to the track?

What no more details?

 

well i took out a s2000(stock), the 350hp srt-4, and lost to a GT only cause i lost the clutch on that race and had to coast for a bit. mike took out a turbo civic i know, but im not sure what else.

 

Traction issues?

 

He told me everyone was consistently running bad numbers, it was rather warm last night (close to 90 for a high) and there was a lot of humidity. I'm sure with Evan's mods all the wins he claims would be possible even with better track conditions. He may have one of those factory freaks we hear about....

 

I still want to get this trip to the DFW area going sometime.

 

Next Sunday there's a meet taking place, something is posted about that somewhere out there. Not sure if there will be any runs, maybe we can find a track out that way. I'll take my G-tech pro though if anyone wants to check out their numbers with it. Maybe there's a park out there where we can get some-thing else going i.e. cookout etc. I'll try to help the guy who's coordinating this to get more feedback/ideas.
