turbo help... much needed.

I have a 07 turbo ss. It has 80ibs injectors and a precision 5557 turbo. Its. 2.0 orginally supercharged. My question is, maybe a dumb one, what's a safe amount of boost for this set up. It 12 ibs a good number. Or what is? Let me know plz. I installed a manuel boost controller and refuses to turn it up until I kniw a decent number.

Also it has been buring oil lately. When im juat sitting there. Any ideas?

Be smart tune for the boost.... so if u r at 12 don't go up till u r tuned for it. A safe boost level is 17-18..

Ok after seeing all the stupid people posting. I have the precision 5857. I have boost set at 18psi right now. I was running 24psi. If you are tuned then its all good.

Yes I bought ricos. Cobalt.

So far I like it. It smokes a lot at stop lights so my next mission is to fix that. I set it at 15. It does alright. Now I gotta adjust the 2 step and the no lift shif
