So I take it the Blue SS was no one on here. Nice lookin' SS but the dual exhaust and stickers ruined it, IMO.

 

The factory brakes just ware too damn fast. I mean I wouldn't bitch about the front pads but it ridiculous that the rear pads and rotors all around go as fast as they do.

I really don't understand how we went from "there is no work anywhere" over a year ago to the news we got today that starting next weekend we'll probably be on 7/12s until the end of April..........f*ck

I mean the money will be awesome, but damn it that really blows

the problem is all the companies were pinching pennies and scared to spend money... now they're trying to catch up and get 2 years worth of construction done in 3 months.............. I got to call the shop and change my tax filing to married and nine for a couple of months... if i'm going to work those hours, I want the money now, i'll change it back when we get on our normal schedule

 

Well guess that means your not going to the Nashville meet now.

 

more than likely no... things COULD change, but as of right now: probably not

honestly though it MAY work out... because we were told starting next week we're definitely going to 7/12s, we're starting pre-outage work... now the outage itself is SCHEDULED for 2 weeks, but it could be longer, could be shorter, its supposed to start March 7th... if it were to end the week of the 19th, it'd probably end that Friday the 18th... in which case, we'd take the weekend off before starting 7/12s again... we always do... if an outage ends on a Wednesday, we'll still take off to Monday just to recoop... that is what i'm hoping, it'll end like on a Wednesday so'll we'll get a nice 4 day mini vacation until we get back on the grind for a little while... the closer it gets, i'll know more...

besides, its not like I couldn't miss a day... with all the hours i've given them in the last 3 months without missing a day... I wish they'd say something, lol
