10k miles was also with an 11hr trip to PA and back and a 11 hr trip to Disney World and back. So should probably be closer to 7k if it wasn;t for those 2 trips.

Took me forever to break in miles on the van after the rebuild and after the clutch install on the HHR SS, I'm letting the wife drive it to work and back everyday till I get 500 miles on it.

My van is probably sitting around 3k total miles since the engine rebuild

 

Damn I was really wanting to ride in your HHR with the BNR because I am thinking of getting it and like i said I need real world experiences before I drop the hammer on it. I like what ZZP is doing but in all honesty I don't think I will need a 500 whp fwd car , I won't be able to track it efficiently and I don't want to just drag my cobalt.

 

those guy's on that board really do get on my nerves though....most people that bash cobalt's dont know a THING about them....there all HONDA/ACURA is the best thing ever made....i cant stand a close minded person....ive been raped by civic's but at the same time ive put there new "si god" in its place (2 car's back)

Well alot of those guys are going to be at spec clutch meet also, I wonder if we shouldn't go.
I really don't feel like getting into it with other people because they are going to be asshats if any of us show up in domestics.

 

thats what im afraid of....thats one reason im not going, because if i was to go it would be in the slobalt....ive never understood close minded people....life's short ya know? my mom died at 35....after that day i took on a new lease on life.....

theres $12k in that car....i couldnt fit the mod list on one page if i tried lol...besides, you cant argue with a mid 14 second n/a stock block, with 30 miles on a rebuilt head and as always its got "fo do's, fo mo ho's!"
this is why im always on this site...the slobalt is the wife's but id rather kick it with open minded people

 

I specifically built the van to be different and to embarrass people.

Soon it will be done, and if it aint fast enough at 22 psi I will jerk out the factory computer, re-wire it with a DSM e-prom computer and crank that bitch up to 30 psi if i have to.

Only real thing I'm currently worried about is it doesn't hit full boost on the sohc head till 3.5k rpms, well the van redlines at 6.5k. So after this dohc head mod and cyclone intake mod w/ boost activated butterflies
If the turbo doesn't hit full boost by 3-3.2k I will be swapping for a faster spooling turbo.

 

same reason i bought and modded my altima...to be different..

by the time i call that altima "done" itll be 12lb's of boost, 5 speed swapped (built auto tranny now...shhhhh ) 300+whp and 280+ ft lb's tq... if i build it itll be a 400hp boosted/sprayed beast...i want a 12 second car SOOOOO bad i can taste it...

 

Im going to the spec meet come on. Look at the first meet there were cobalts there. If these ppl are car ppl and want to support the scene in alabama they will give us our respect.

Don't worry about those type of people HHR. I never listen to the honda fanboi's I just nod my head and tell them my car is slow. I think the spec meet will be fun, I am a car enthusiast so I love getting to shoot the bull with different car type owners. I'll let the honda fanboi's say or think anything they want to about my car because in all honesty I could give two ***** what they think lol.

Well I was going to drive the Van, but some of those import guys sound like ******, I might just have to take the HHR SS.
