I personally think that sounds good. It's not too godly loud and doesn't sound like you threw a coffee can with a bounch of holes on there lol. It's just right to me.

I've heard too many bad things about HIDs. I wouldn't do it IMO.

 

I've ran them in my fogs for a long time. And I just have a cheap set in the headlights. Don't know if it's a bulb or a balist. And Adam my neighbors got a truck for sale

it started pulling into the hotel for the fight had a group of about 10 guys come up and start questioning me about the car, one of them said he is trying to find one and had heard they took to mods well... then I stopped to get gas on the way home and I walk out the station from pissing and these two black guys with some pretty bad ass 3rd gen Camaros were looking it, both said they didn't even know Chevrolet made a Cobalt SS but "heard me pulling in"...

and on my way through the parking lot at Target I heard someone say "damn that Cobalt sounds good"... so I guess its a hit with the locals, lol

Today was Honda race day apparently

What a day, on hwy 72 going towards Madison today a black Honda prelude? (not sure), lowered, wheels, exhuast wants to run. (Nice car even if it was a Honda)

1st time he tries to do a fly by but when he got next to meas hes passing, I floored it and left him standing still. Multiple cars lengths and pulling when he slows down.

2nd time I let him get next to me, I let him pull first, same result
3rd time I wave him up for some more , same thing.

Then he gets next to me gives me a wtf look, thumbs up and we part ways.

On the way home passing Walmart in Athens on 72 this lowered Honda Civic hatch with bronze wheels (might have been gold) was pulling out as I passed.

I get caught at the next red light and hes behind me, (I see a intercooler Turbo!) so we stay like that till we get further down 72 west were the hwy opens up.

He gets up next to me and makes his BOV go off.

We race 3 times, first 2 times, I end up putting multiple car lengths on him and still pulling as he shuts down each time.

3rd time we go, I wave and leave his ass like he was standing still in a parking lot.

Finally they (Him and buddy) roll up next to me with this puzzled/shocked look on there face, the passenger throws a thumbs up and we part ways.

Funny thing is my MAF relocate isn't even tuned all the way in yet, so boost build up is slower then it was at the meet till we get it tuned in.

Drivability out of boost has been increased alot though.

Hey if anyone is interested there is going to be a huge, and I mean HUGE, Fast 5 movie premiere at The Rave Movie theater here in Huntsville on April 29th and 30th. Samir, with HuntsvilleCarScene.com is putting this on and so far from what I have been told he has most of the cars from the movie there. Some are actually movie cars. There is also going to be a huge after party as well. Yes the Rave has an IMAX that the movie will be playing on. Anyone interested in coming? I will be there Friday night for sure. The Rave is on Bailey Cove Rd. It is different then the Monaco. Originally Samir was trying to do it at the Monaco but they blew him off. So he went to the Rave.
