If some of you are going to come up to this Saturday let me know either in a text or the thread.
I might go ahead and BBQ some food, that car show place is 5 minutes from my house.
So if everyone wants to come up around 12-1 pm, we can eat and hang out, then drive over to the car show and check it out.
Richard don't forget your stopping by the house to tell me what you think as far as body work goes on the turbo van.

So im sorry if this question has been asked before but there is no way i was reading 159 pages. I have a 2.2 ecotect project where im putting a m62 on it. Does anyone know the best tuner I can go to in Alabama that can give me a good HP tune?
#4908
ya i called them the other day and they have only tune like 2 cobalts and zero l61's. The guys on my j-body form have informed me that most tuners that specialize in LS motors and mustang motors dont normally give great results to l61 motors. So i figured Id ask in this form.
Thanks for the response

Not saying your tuning was or is bad just going from hearing that two car are dead and they were tuned by hpt not saying it's you but it looks to me both are good just depending on who does the hpt

Well i do it to play it safe and to check up. But the issue with tuned cars (which are stock internalls mainly pistons) is if you always get into boost and make high egts all the time. This is what will eat ure engine. Yeah the tune helps this out if the ownerof the car is a idiot lol. Thats why i went built and keep an eye on my egts... 30lbs and my egts are good lol. But ifi were to do a full 2nd 3rd and 4th gear pull then my egts would get high but not enough to make piston issues........but with the lsjs theres a few tuners that have been around them litterally since the beta file came out for them. Like my self. Area47 ebristol and ect... The issue with alot of people is the go to known ls series or lnf reputable tuners when these two engines are totally different. ....
