Well this is what I've got done so far on my 4G63T DOHC head swap w/ distributor from the 4G64 SOHC head I had on previously. The 4G63T turbo motor and head never came with a distributor, they used a CAS. So I officially have a 4G64 w/ 4G63T DOHC head with distributor (the distributor should make for some interesting discussion at meets/shows lol).
The timing belt and TB are both on also. I had to wait for a 2G fuel rail and 2G water housing to come since I couldnt get my factory SOHC stuff to work.



Here's a sneak peek of the repaint job, the whole van is re-painted, minus the hood. The windshield and all glass is installed (need updated pics), only thing left to be put on is the glossy black stuff grille/bumpers/side moulding and the interior put back together.
I also got a personalized tag DCEPTV1

What's up! Yep, the Camaro pictures on a Cobalt forum kinda gave that away. I think it's going to be a great first-time event, but it's starting to get into summer where there's a lot of stuff going on each weekend.

got the headers/catback on today same car I went nose to nose with before, with 2 passengers tonight(one of which is 300+) we went nose to nose again... when they got out the car... domination

and its running rich as ****, I can't wait to get it retuned...

 

This van is total sickness. I had no idea that the 4g64 could respond so well to a turbo. I have one in my 96 Galant.

 

yeah myself and Paul have both moved on from the delta platform.... we've just kind of hung around... we have(or had, what the hell guys, lol) a pretty active little group here... I can't say much, for the past 2 months, i've been tied down to work but I have managed to finally get my life back

and myself and some locals are definitely going down Saturday, found out last night a friend of mine is taking his 240, already registered and everything...

as of midnight tonight... we're still going... be we worked until midnight tonight trying to get my boys 240 back together... I still plan on being there, but if we get it up and going tomorrow... a lot of us are coming... he has already registered as motivation... and the engine is back together, he got his flywheel in today... hoping tomorrow goes as good as today

 

went out for a night of fun on the town, saw 2 friends go to jail, one with a totaled supercharged 2010 Camaro SS... never again... i'm done with street racing... track only from here on out

they set our asses up tonight and finally cracked down... and brought the hammer, pit maneuvers and all... and I wish I was joking, I saw a SUV push a Camaro off the road and into a ditch, and I don't mean it ran him down or anything... I mean blindsided him as he tried to speed by

 

Sounds like you got a little snitch in your group of race friends. No doubt they relayed the info ahead of time to set you guys up.

nope, it was our own damn fault, we went back... you never go back. that is rule #1... but we waited several hours and then went... but they had an undercover on us(and i'm not talking unmarked) the whole damn time

he got charged with reckless driving, exhibition of speed, improper lane change, speeding, attempting to lude, and reckless endangerment... the last 2 is automatic jail time

on top of that, he knocked off his complete front cap, got a busted transmission(or at least a hole in something, all his transmission fluid had leacked out), and the driver side rear quarter panel took the shot, which probably screwed up wheels and who knows what in the suspension, and it knocked off the rear valence.... none of which will be covered by insurance... on top of that, he has to pay to fix a fence he went through, a street sign his car knocked down(which they are charging him $500 for because of the nature in which it was knocked down), AND he has to pay to have the police SUV which rammed him fixed

on top of no telling HOW much in fines, car insurance is over, and license are gone... this guy just has too much car, he is 18(about to turn 19), its his 2nd car(the 1st which was some type of Kia), and he has a blown '10 Camaro SS...
