You know they stopped putting those heat mats under the hood in 09 & 10 on cars, said they trapped to much heat under the hood.
I have thought about buying one just for meets and shows.

So far I got my slobalt, Wes's 5.0, a 350z, and either a scion tc or a 4 door g35 ( he is not sure which he is bringing yet ) rolling down there with me.

 

they didn't have the heat mats for the '08s, I bought that

besides... heat soak is more an issue with S/c cars than turbo cars anyway... and the tag is the best part

They did on the HHR SS, weird they would stick it on 08 HHR SS, but not the 08 Cobalt SS/TC

The reason given from GM for not having them on the 09-10 model (HHR SS apparently) was to much under hood heat.

But they do look good.

 

yeah I had heard that about the heat before but I i'll take my chances, lol

and i'm about to head out, would have already left but my friend was on his way here and had an issue with a store apparently getting robbed or something, and it was the only store for him to get gas between here and my house(he was on fumes)... so he had to wait about 10 minutes for them to turn the pumps on after they got through with the police report...

Dude drifted almost into a parked car.

Not to mention it forced us (the people standing around talking) to have to leave so the police didn't come and harrass us. Some people need to think sometime before doing ****
