I feel ya on the service thing. My local dealership had my car for a month and half because my 2nd gear syncro bit the bucket. They called me yesterday said it was fixed so I go pick it up and baby it home. Go to get food last night shift from 1st to 2nd at 2500 rpm and GRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNDDD up shift and down shift. Didn't fix **** I was pissed.

I got moved to another plant this week but i'm glad... its 20 minutes from the house(heck yeah) and its a 4/10s job... but we will be working a good bit of OT out there(working this Sunday for example)... I was told i'll probably finish my apprenticeship there... and considering the main guy over the electrical department is a very long time family friend..... may not ever leave there... he told me I was staying around before my boss did, lol...

ya it was decided yesterday but i havent really got anything set in stone thats why i havent contacted you yet richard.

 

should have some decent racing footage tomorrow(if it turns out well)... my buddy has my runs from tonight recorded on his phone...

ran a bolt-on '12 5.0... went 3-0 against him... he said I jumped him the 1st race... then said he spun the 2nd... 3rd race he finally just said "you car runs pretty good"... lol

ran a bone stock '09 LS3 Vette... he beat me by half a car through the 1/8th......but would have killed me in the 1/4, lol...

ran a nitrous 2-valve, lost by 1 1/2 cars but did better than I expected

ran that h/c Vette that absolutely crushed me before my new mods/tires... 1st race he spun horribly and slept on the start(i didn't jump, lol even he said he screwed up) and yet still only "won" by maybe a car... but the next race, we both did better... he still only beat me by a car or so... but once again, he'd have killed me through the 1/4, lol

the 5.0 was the only race I would say I wasn't an "underdog" but even in it.. I wasn't expected to win by the majority of people there... the rest of the race, i knew I was going to lose going in... just wanted to have bench marks to compare my car too...

also have a few runs of that Mustang and Vette on my phone...

Alright guys. We have a few meets coming up next month.

Right now there is a Nashville Meet and Indy Meet.
The bad thing about them two are, that they are on the same day (Gay)

Both are Oct 13th.

But for all the Bama guys, I'm going to the indy meet this year (more of a blast, and well planned out)

Well I have drill and no one else but you and William have time/money/ no family to go up that far lol. But the weekend prior I'm planning on getting a meet together here in Alabama on Sunday.

There was a nice ass Dale Earnhart edition Silverado crew cab truck the day I went to do the paperwork for the Subaru, triple black, black wheels, lowered, 345 hp engine. If the gas mileage wouldn't have killed me I would have snatched it up.

The wife will be brining the car up there Friday to get some fine scratches on the roof buffed out. We noticed it during the inspection of the car when buying it.
