if there is one cop and an access road, you can try to hit it, at worst case, the cop follows you and you then pull over... but its a 50/50 shot he stays with the other car... in which case as soon as he doesn't turn onto your road, GO BITCH.... don't wait for unit #2, get the **** up out of there

kid from my high-school died in a car wreck last night...
was speeding, lost control, flipped 10 times, was ejected, airlifted to UAB, and passed away in the hospital...he had a passenger who survived but is in intensive care...
this is a threat we all see in our hobby, and its happened to many in our hobby....life can be too short to **** around and waste it...

a guy I used to race with named Tommy from Mississippi(he originally had a 2v GT when I met him, sold it bought a Lighnting, sold it bought a '03 Cobra that is fast as ****) had his little brother kill his friends a few years back... Kid was 16 and his parents bought him a 2000 or 2001 SS Camaro... we all met at the track on a Thursday night and he had his g/f, friend, and his friend's g/f with him... He made a few passes and because they lived in Mississippi, had to have the girls back at a decent time so they left early... He blew a tire at like 145mph, apparently he was the only one wearing a seatbelt, as it threw the other 3 out and killed all of them instantly, he had the t-tops out in the car, it stupid enough to be doing 145+ with other people in the car, its REALLY stupid to be doing it in a f-body with the t-tops out... He lived but is pretty much a vegetable and they say he will never leave the nursing home he is at now, which probably for the better, because he is facing 3 counts of vehicular manslaughter if he ever does recover where he can stand trial

supposed to be a VERY nice complex and they are trying to get a lot of the series in the Southeast to start running there(probably main IHRA, Mickey Thompson 10.5 Outlaws, etc.)
looks promising, and is just over an hour from me, so MUCH closer than Steele
as a matter of fact, the 1st test and tune starts tomorrow

I bought a Dijon BOV spring... cheap mod, only $10... should be in this week, going to put it on next weekend, still need to put my Silver Emblem on(going to replace the Gold Bowtie on the back)... Rain the past week has kind of hampered that

Don't diss b/c I'm a noob... but what does that spring do? I know it's a replacement part, but I figure I'd learn as much as I can from this site.

its essentially just a louder bov, lol.... doesn't do much for performance... But it is a much stronger spring, so the chances of getting a boost leak are greatly reduced(that is more for on down the road)
