be thankful you guys don't have to deal with Russellville cops, I don't live there, but its a neighboring city and I have friends who live there(and some on the other side of it), so I travel through it regularly, I could not begin to count the number of times I have been pulled over there, mainly because when I was in high school, the strip was there(where everyone hung out, and it'd be packed, in its prime there would be a few thousand people down there, all kinds of cars)... and the cops got strict, would pull you over for anything... once it died out(because of the cops), they seemed to get worse, because now if you drive a performance oriented car through Russellville and pass a cop, you are going to get pulled over...

Point being, one night I was at the Auto Zone there and a guy with an Evo(from Houston, here visiting family) and I got to talking about cars... Now I won't lie, he did want to know where we all race, in which I called up some people and sure enough people were meeting up... So I just told him to follow me out... as soon as we leave the lot, a cop goes by, sees a Trans Am and an Evo leave and immediately blue lights us, the Evo pulls over into the Wal-Mart and because I was in front of him and wasn't directly being blue lighted, I kept driving, cop #2 did a U-turn and blue lighted me...

I spent like 30 minutes talking to the cops because they "thought" we were going to street race(even though we were, that is beside the point, we don't even race any where close to that ******* city, in fact we race 2 counties over about 30 miles away)... I knew they had nothing on me and kept telling me "if you aren't going to give me a ticket, I need to be on my way, i'm in a hurry"... and they told me "well how about we get the drug unit down here"... they are just like that, I mean once again, didn't have **** in my car... just wanted to be left along, I've pretty much figured out their entire police force were nerds in high school and so now any young person with a cool car they feel the urge to pull over, because like I said, no one goes to that dump of a city any more, we just travel through it, yet they still feel the urge to try to pin something on you

and its a 45mph zone through there and if you are doing 49 in a performance car, once again, you WILL get a ticket, I set my cruise when going through there, for that reason

and then there is other **** as well, like one night when the strip was still around, my friend got into a fight with this guy, the reason it started is this kid through a beer bottle at his truck, which is asking to get your ass whooped, so yeah, that pretty much happened... and after Will beats this kid's ass the cops come flying in... Now this kid, provoked the fight, had beer(couldn't have been more than 16), had witnesses who SAW him hit the truck with the bottle(as well as a shattered bottle AND damage to Will's truck) and yet the cops checked their I.D.s, Will was not from Russellville, the other kid was... guess who went to jail that night...

they are corrupt as ****, have(or had) a good football team, because their team ate roids... notice how they fell of the map? because their coach Perry Swindle got fired, they started getting investigated for roid usage, the usage stopped and they now suck, lol

 

nope just finished...but i was going and the lanes merged so i slowed down b/c there was a car next to me...well he slammed on the brakes so i floored it to pass him and then returned to the speed limit...but apparently for the 2 seconds i was speeding it was all the policeman cared about....o well it happened cant change it..

well, I shouldn't have opened my mouth... I got busted racing a Mach 1 tonight...

but the cop let us go... we didn't get a run in, and he COULD have gotten me for speeding, but let me go... So I got very lucky, luckily, in was in the city here that isn't strict with cops(close to Russellville, won't name them by name because **** like that on the internet sometimes bites you in the ass)...

what happened was I was on my lunch at work, had stopped to get gas, put in like $20, called it good and I see the Mach 1 go by the gas station... So I get in my car and run him down, its 45 on this road and I know I was doing like 55-60 to catch him, did a quick cop glance and didn't see any... I caught the Mach 1 while in the left lane, kind of started to tail gate him, he cleared a car and got over... I downshifted to 3rd at about 50mph(he was kind of jumping at me at this point) and then kept on braking until around 45 so I could get in 2nd, as soon as we hit them we go by an access street and i'll be damn if there wasn't a cop heading out to our road... the Mach 1 got off the gas almost immediately so I was the car ahead, cop came flying up to us, got in front of me, rode the middle of the lane until we both pulled over(no access roads for us to turn onto)... so we both pull over and he then backs up behind us... Scolded us, told us we could go to jail(that would have sucked, gotten fired from my job and went to jail), ended up letting us go, didn't even get our license... what is funny is I ended up knowing the guy in the Mach 1(Named Chance, traded a '05 GT for a '04 Mach 1 recently, I don't blame him, the Mach 1s are much cooler than the retro style GTs and faster)...

it sucked but not near as bad as it could... I would have liked to have known how I would have done against a Mach 1 from a 2nd gear pull...

 

If a cop flew past me like that. I would've said **** and pulled over right then.
