that sucks about your car man. we had one in our shop for 3 months(g6 gt conv) had to send an engineer down to look at it he couldnt even fix it kinda sad really. but they ended up giveing her money back for 3 months payments and free oil changes for life and that thing takes mobile 1 also

 

honestly, it gets better than that

see when I took the car in, I told them about the flaking door handle and asked about the recall for the power steering

the guy from GM also said that it was the dealer's responsibility to order the parts for the recalled parts on any cars they had sold once a recall was issued... he told me in a follow up call that he had instructed them to order the parts to get that out of the way...

any takers on that they haven't taken care of the door handle issue OR of ordering the parts for the recall? its probably just been sitting in the ******* grass behind their service shop for 7 weeks

it really pisses me off because i'm not after a dime... I simply WANT MY CAR FIXED... most people would be looking to have them buy the car back, etc... nope, just WANT IT FIXED

and they simply can't seem to be able to actually get that ******* accomplished, now yeah, if they can't get that done in a reasonable time than they can take this mother ******* car and shove it up their ass

and i'll go buy a new GT Mustang instead... because a lawyer would have a field day with this

well if me, 08inbama, laser and maybe bamaboy all go, then we should all go in on hotel or cabin together. The phillip motel has 3 bedroom cottages you can rent for $125/per night. Whatever we are going to do we need to get to reserving something soon before nothing is left.
I want to be where the majority of the crowd is going to be, but I'm probably going to reserve something soon, just to make sure I have a place.

Alright man, I'm gonna call up there tommorow and see if they have any cottages open for those dates. Hell if it ends up being me and you only thats still only about 65.00/ea, the Microtel was going to be 80/ea for a single with a queen bed.
Once we get a 3rd I'll just split the money between me and you to pay us back.

GM called me today, they are pissed as **** at my dealer... lol

apparently my dealer lied to them and told them the transmission was broke down PRIOR to last week... when in reality they just "guesstimated" what was wrong with it... and of course, when more parts were needed than they originally thought, well, the situation last week happened

still haven't gotten a time frame on when the part will come in...hopefully before October, lol

 

Room reserved (on my credit card). I reserved both Oct. 22nd and 23rd, wasn't sure how many nights we actually needed since we never talked about it more in depth, so I went ahead and reserved both nights. If neither of you plan on staying Saturday night let me know so I can change it just for Friday. But I'm sure there will be more partying Sat. night as well. We got a 3 room cottage, #202 (I think).

awesome if you want pm or text me how much my part was... 2054476999...and come on someone has to want some wheels or valve cover or other accessories...I can do custom colors or somewhat designs and patterns...I tried Scotty's tiedye and couldn't get it to work...but I can do a lot....marble/fabric denim look/gloss/flat/candy/Pearl/flake/ghost/ and any combo...hook ups for you guys...or if you don't want it talk around find someone who does and you get 10%...

as far as painting, I actually will have some ATV wheels for you to do(the one pictured above)... but it'll be winter before I get them done because I'll ride it until the winter, and then deer season... however after deer season(february), i'm planning on replacing all the plastic, etc. and getting the wheels painted black...
