got my starter in last night, went to crank it and nothing. i took my battery back to auto parts store again, had them test it, and they said it was fine (second time testing). not wanting to buy a battery and it not be able to return it, i went back home and borrowed my neighbors spare battery. cranked right up.
they tested my battery twice, and told me it was fine twice. which is why i replaced my starter. FML. could have saved myself time and money just by getting a new battery. i feel like an idiot, but at least my car is back up and running. and i have a brand new starter lol. anyone need a starter?

forgot to mention. it was a bad cell in the battery, but they didnt test for individual cells in the battery. so... make sure ya have your battery checked out.

I bought my '09 back in November from there. I needed a car because my Jetta died that day. Well, I found the Cobalt. Had pretty much no research on the car, so I ended up with the 2.2L LAP ECOcrap.
The XM doesn't work, the oil life was on 10%, and the axle seal was leaking. STUPID on my part, but I needed a car.
They could care less. But oh well. I like it. haha
Oh yeah, and the salesman kept saying it was a 2LT, when in fact it's an LT XFE.
"It's got bluetooth and all that." Nope!
All in all I'm an idiot and impatient lol but they are still aweful.
What did you pay for it? If you don't mind. And who sold it to you?

ATLSILVER, WHEN DO YOU WANT YOUR HHR DETAILED? we need to go to one of them carolina's for import alliance at the end of the month, hahaha... i know your busy and all, but it can be a little getaway for the weekend or even a day, its a two day event... The Mrs. even said she's down to roll, you know i got to take advantage of that opportunity....

where can i find those headlamps? i know they are retro's of some sort? i also know the car was purchased with the headlights in already but they have a really clean look to them....

dunno...i am going on vacation to new jersey on the 12th thru the 18th. I think i have saturday the 28th off and if iirc import alliance is then. but i will be closing the day before so i don't think i will be down for getting off work at 3am and getting in the car and driving to charlotte lol.

september???oh well i'll be ready when you are..... I wanted to drop but im getting conflicting stories about springs and coilovers so it may be a while. My alignment guy said to not go coilovers, and not to go to low on springs, and the problems is I want to slam, but not going to happen now....
