well my bad on that one, but chat seems a lot bigger than knoxville and lot worse. The homeless people in knoxville are in one area, that if we had a meet down here you would not see them. at all. most of them are in the city and down town knoxville, we would be in east or west knoxville and both are nice areas

 

Memphrika is the armpit of the Mid-South, I agree. I work in Orange Mound @ the NS RR.... get to see all kinds of scenery on my way to/from work.

 

I know it's hard to believe that Memphis was once voted the most beautiful city in America. I know what you mean tho with the scenery. I go to the UofM and I see rundown crap all over the place. I know it's in every city, but it seems to be more prominent in Mempho.

Who do you know that can help us get the ball rolling on this one? I understand that you are the moderator for East Tennessee correct? If so, who are the other two? It seems to me that there aren't that many balt owners in TN and thats whats making it hard to get something rolling.

Cobaltdude you are the only other person ive seen on here from memphis arkkornkid is from Jonesboroish im guessing but other than that its Murphreesboro and Knoxville.

I found a link in another thread to a list of the state mods and it had you and JRANGER for TN but noone for West TN and the link was about a year old so idk. anyway i did like the movie reference it took me a second cause ive only seen field of dreams once but i got it nonetheless.

 

well we could start up a meet thread and see if people do have any interest, i could get some people from knoxville to join in but they all aren't cobalts. i really would like to have it in knoxville to because we could go to the dragon drive it a couple of times, its fun.

 

ok well i guess the only way to find the ppl is to start planning a meet and see where it goes. it's a little late in the year and if it doesnt happen then it doesnt happen but it's at least worth a shot.

there is a second wave of import alliance this sunday in nashville. i am for sure going
it is from 9-5 at two rivers park
i would love to see lots of ecos there

 

it's been pretty warm during the days right now. at least up here in clarksville. nashville is pretty central to everybody in TN, it's three hrs..give or take 30 min to and hr.. from almost anywhere in tn.

 

middle right here and we already had a meet right here just south of nashville in the brentwood franklin area which is really nice last time we met hung out took pictures, went for a cruise from point A to B then ate there and then went to point C and then our final stop at point D, turned out to be a very fun first meet and there was 20 or 21 people that turned up nothing but cobalts and one srt4 but other then that it was real fun and a great turn out!! Yeah import alliance this weekend so ready to go, i went to the summer one and it was amazing! so who all is going to it this weekend? ill be going and several other cobalts i know will be lets meet

 

Yeah i've seen pics of that meet it looks like it was well thought out and a lot of fun. I only hope the next one we plan is just as good. Does anyone have any serious ideas for location and date on this one?

 

yeah i planned the last one, and i figured the same thing how nashville was pretty much 3 to 4 hours from memphis, knoxville, louisville, atlanta, st louis, and chattanooga is only about 3 hours away and the clarksville about 45 minutes to a hour away, last meet we had people come down from bowling green and one or two from louisville

 

ok, well what if we meet in maryville and ate at like BW3's (buffalo wild wings) cruise around and head up to the dragon and come out in pigeon forge and find some stuff to do up there. I have 5 people that will go down here and possibly more, only 3 cobalts including me though

ok well both ideas sound good. I mean i'm more for the nashville idea but thats because it's only a 2 1/2 hour drive. It would allow for people from all over to come and hang out from Arkansas and Missouri even. but then Knox allows for the Carolina folks so its a toss up.

nothing yet. In twoish weeks ill be getting the yellow tc over at chuck hutton if it's still there when Nov rolls around. I really hope it is.
