we do need to get together sometime, this weekend I'm going out of town, but usually I home all weekend. If anyone else wants to meet at RPM, I will be there around 5:30ish, I have to make one stop before that now.
And JK, I've ordered the sport exhaust, just waiting to hear from Hendrick Chevy about when to get it installed.

If anyones interested in attending, I have an appointment for a base dyno pull on Friday the 11th at 4 pm at RPM in Garner. I tried to get a Sat date, but they don't offer them, unless it's a club event or something. And we don't have enough in the immediate area to do that yet. Let me know if anyone wants to watch, or maybe join in the fun, I can give you directions and their number if you want to make a pull (they are $50 for a base pull). -CC

Yeah, I've been to Caroloina Auto Masters (CAM) before with my grand prix. they were okay, but i would not left jeff dyno tune my car. RPM worked with them only until they got their own dyno in their new shop. RPM is directly across from Agri Supply off of 70 in Garner near the Best Buy. They are behind some place that sells handicap vans (bad omen
). I might see if a few of my old friends from the grand prix club will meet me there too. But any and all are welcome to see some weak ass base numbers! haha.
jk, give me a call when you are gonna be up there, i don't know how long i will stay, or they will stay open (everyone there will be ready to go home too after working inthe heat all day). My number is 452-7234. I'll get there around 3ish for anyone else interested in meeting me there.

Well, no dyno today (the tech had a personal issue with his pregnant wife having to go to the hospital), so I can understand him not being there. I rescheduled for 5pm on Wednesday the 16th, if anyone is interested in attending then. I have to have it done soon, because my exhaust is supposed to be in by the end of next week.
Hey Beerman, I saw you early yesterday morning on Fayetteville Rd. probably heading to work. I didn't have my car, I was in a company vehicle. I tried to catch up to you before the light turned green but that Cobalt is too damn fast!
When did you say that car show in Charlotte is?
Oh well, I bet that's why I never see you either, if your driving a company vehicle. The show is Sept 14-17. I'll be going down Friday evening most likely, and staying at my dad's place. Not sure what day I'll attend the show. I can leave that up to others if we want to meet sometiime, b/c I can go either or both days.

yeah, it depends on what your looking to have done. A lot of us on here, can help you save money by installing it WITH you (we need a good mod day anyways to get everyone together). But if it's something serious (cam, rockers, etc), few will take responsibility. A great shop in Garner is RPM. I have dealt with them a lot, and have always been satisfied. Prices are resonable, and Jeff, their head mechanic is great at lletting you know what he's doing, and will let you watch. I do hover too much myself sometimes ! lol. Here's their webpage. They're also a good place to dyno and get some base numbers before you do too much. I made that mistake before. You'll always wonder how much HP you really added, and you'll never know unless you get baseline numbers.
Oh, I am alreday familiar with RPM. They always worked on my Z06 when i broke it a few times, but thats a different story.
I want to install a Stage 2 , but I want a dealer to do it so it can remain under warrenty.
