I will but i need to post in the other thread so I know whats up...I mean We need phone numbers or some form of contact to know if plan a (meeting spot) doesnt work and we have to revert to plan b... I mean if A fails and I show up there im gonna eb pissed if no one else is

Nashville Newb, will be moving in april 9th up in bellevue location. I'd be down to go to the meet all i need to do is you know find employement thats pretty much it...

 

I live in byhalia ms and ive been watching this thread. hoping yall could find a good place to meet. How about the casino parking lots or shelby forest or shelby farms. I dont think downtown memphis is a safe place for humans. Just my two cents worth.

Downtown memphis isn't actually that bad. Just STAY in the downtown area. Don't wander off exploring and expect to not get jacked.
Why don't you come to the meet, it's going to be on Mud Island near the pyramid in a public park?

 

I know you have done alot of planning for this meet and we all appreciate it. I grew up in memphis and finally got out in 1995 and never looked back. I live 10 miles south of memphis and very rarely venture up there. There's just no safe place up there. Even CNN is broadcasting about 6 murders in one house. Local newscasts show murders,carjackings,robberies everyday all over the city including downtown. I will be there but against my better judgement. I like being around other cobalts/owners. Infact I showed my cobalt at the 2006 NOPI nationals in atlanta. So just let me know when the meet is and I will be there.

I stayed in downtown memphis right in that area a few months ago and it was not bad at all so it will be fine

I was at nopi in 2006... not showing but I was there.

I'll put you down on the list.
The main area's in downtown are actually HEAVILY patrolled by law enforcement. You acutally can't walk anywhere on Beale street or Peabody Street without being in sight of a uniformed cop. It's when you start getting too far east or too far south that you start running into bad areas.

Just picked up my red 06 Cobalt SS/SC a couple of weekes ago...still has the drive-out tag on it. I live in Marion, AR. So I'd love to come and see everyone's rides. Looking forward to the meet.

Born and raised here...lived in Austin, TX from 9/98 till 1/00, other than that brief escape I've been here wasting away in the Mid South.

I added stripes to my car this weekend. I hope to get my mesh grills in by the time we meet. I only have a cobalt LT but it looks and sounds good. Now that I'm on the list im really excited about this idea.
