Memphis Meet thread WITH PICTURES 56k death!
Here's the official word on the Memphis, Tennessee Cobalt meet. It will be on Saturday April 19th from 2pm until 6pm.
Location #1 is at the Mississippi River TOM LEE PARK. It's a gorgeous location wit hthe Mississippi river and the Memphis Bridge in the background, and less than a (TWO) minute(S) from the Pyramid parking lot should you want to take some personal photographs there
Back-up location is the roof level of the Peabody Place Parking Garage West (Parking fee required)
After the meet, there are numerous eating and entertainment establishments in the Memphis Downtown area, especially around Beale Street. Here is a map of the area and directions
THe physical address is 310 Riverside Blvd. Memphis, TN if you need to mapquest it.
This is also the weekend of the Super Chevy Show at Memphis Motorsports Park. Admission is $10 - $22 but Spectator parking at this event is Free, and the hours are 10-5 Fri, 7-5 Sat, and 8-6 Sunday. If you want to race or be entered into the Show and shine, the prices are substantially higher. Details for this event can be found at

The meet went off FANFREAKINGTASTIC. While we didn't get as many participants show up as we would've liked, but we did get a professional photographer from cobaltmag.com show up and take LOTS of pictures of the meet and several members cars. Some of us were interviewed for the magazine and I just finished talking to the woman today and she said that the Memphis Meet is guaranteed to be in the magazine. (I guess we'll have to ro sham bo for which individual they decide to feature). We had a great dinner together as a group, and were only harassed by panhandlers and crackheads FOUR TIMES in memphis. THAT'S AMAZING FOR MEMPHIS!!!!! Plus there's a distinct possibility that JRanger hooked up with a girl from Mississippi after we all left that night! He deserved it for driving all the way from Nashville just to hang out.
Anyway. Here's a slide show of the meet so these bums will leave me alone about it.

Ok I'll pose this question for the local guys.
Does anyone want to offer arrangements for out of town members?
Also I'm going to check out some room rates for you guys, if we get enough interest in the meet and people wanting to stay overnight, I can see if a specific hotel will give us a discounted room rate.

Our meet is on April 19th in Columbus, OH. Grows everytime and last meet in Oct was ~50 cars, we do them every april and october. You all should come to ours too!! Make it even bigger. Don't start sayin it's a big drive, we have canadians comin again
