I'm 34...just really came across the cobalt ss/sc a couple of months ago and found one at carmax last month and now it's mine. See ya'll there.

Getting a hotel is simple, just call in advance and they'll tell ya it they'll rent to ya or not. I would consider staying in memphis for the night buy i feel i should just dip back to Nashville.

 

there are some awesome cobalt meets on youtube. ive been checking out cobalts from this site and found many new ways to trick out my car. there hasnt been much mention of the meet lately, is it still planned? i posted a pic of my car with my new stripes. anyway, im all excited about the memphis meet and i hope somebody brings a camcorder and puts us on youtube.

alright so I'm probably gonna go too. I say anyone who has to or lives around nashville we should meet at the bridge at 10 am leave at 1030 for memphis
ALSO we should notify any groups from other surrounding states try an make it one of the biggest meets yet. let me know if anyone want to meet up at the bridge first

 

I can't find anything in the memphis flyer about it, but I saw a billboard downtown on Union. Some kind of fighting on the 19th. It might have been UFC.

hey yall, i work on Saturdays until 1:00. i work in olive branch so im only a stones throw from downtown memfrica. what time is the meet and has the meeting place been nailed down?

I read a sticky on HID's and now im really confused. Do any of yall have them? I live in the country, most of my night driving is on 2 lane roads. My hi beams are ok but I would like to see that hoot owl crossing the road at windshield level or the deer jumping out of the woods before I have to exercise my ABS maneuvering. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

I noticed my headlights were just pointed way too low. I'd pull behind a car and they'd be pointed right at it's bumper, so I raised them up just a bit and I can tell a world of difference. Don't go too high or ppl will hi-beam you, but I haven't had that problem at all. Only takes an allen wrench to adjust the height so it's really simple to do while aimed at a wall.

Don't know much about the HID's, sorry, but hope this is a little helpful.

 

i dont know anything about hids but i want them lol maybe at the meet if you have them we can help you with them

Down here in Mississippi is a magazine called cruzin south. Its full of hot rods,racing news, custom motorcycles,hot babes and car shows/meets. I kinda know the owner/editor of the mag. She owns a resturant across from my business an I advertised in the mag last year so I was thinkin about getting her photographer out for our meet. Maybe get our rides in a full color spread in next months issue. On another note, I'm really excited about the meet. Today I got a new catback exhaust. This weekend I'll install my mesh grill inserts and replace my faded out windshield banner with a new one I bought off ebay. I may not be fast but damn it my COBALT LT looks and sounds DAMN good. I hope this meet goes according to plan and none of yall bail on it.
