Anyone down for the 3rd annual Neons vs Cobalts event? Trying to do either a Car show/Dyno day or a AutoX event but a small group of neons want a drag strip event

 

You might as well make it a Cobalt Dyno and chill day. The neons probably wont come again.

 

if it happens im down, still need some tweaking but sounds fun.

 

I'm down for fayetteville meet rick. Nate was talking to my buddy Pete with the stone white acr and he was telling me they think a lot more srts will show up if its more of a dyno kind of event.

 

The only SRT4's that showed up for the cobalt/neon dyno day were from Fayetteville, the rest claimed they didn't know.

 

Yeah lol well I talked to NSI today and they agree that a drag day would be more of a spectating event for us and a actual drag event for mustangs,evos,etc lol They agreed on wanting a dyno day but they want to throw in a few twist to make it exciting and have other activities to do. They said there down to just have cobalts there anyway since we come out in numbers lol

 

Can we hold this Cobalt meet like December 1st or 2nd? That's Saturday/Sunday of the weekend I get back in Fayetteville. I'm down to meet up anywhere and just driiiiiveee. No driving for 6 months sucks!

I just purchesed a 09 black cobalt ss and Im fixn to buy the lnf plug and play but do I have to take the car to a dealer to have them flash it? Can I buy a flashpaq and flash it myself?

 

I'm down hopefully, just dont leave me in the dust with my lil' mx5

 

By Plug and Play I'm thinking you mean GMS1? If so yes, the upgraded sensors need to be tuned for your car, I'm trying to get a hold of some software so I can start doing remote tunes in NC. When that happens I'll let you guys know. I'm not 100% sure if Matt is still tuning or not but if you absolutely can not wait let me know I can talk to a couple people down south and see if they can make a trip up here.Time to do an LS-T swap!!! I'll personally try to keep all racing/speeding down to a minimum, local cops are seriously starting to crack down on speeders and street racing.

 

Nope, no big old v8 swap, nothing for awhile if at all and if I do, just a turbo, 260whp and be happy.

 

Thanks alot Ramos, You the MAN!! The gms1 is the kit for me! But for the first is that RPD. I just bought I have to wire that up first then the gms1 kit. Im hoping the flashpaq can tune my stuff up!!

 

Its hard to keep up with all these nice cobalts in indian trail were i live,I have to upgrade some parts !

RAMOS: I need to do some data log, I got my tune in AZ by nick TF( selective tune). I got some more parts to add before I do but I don't know of anyone around here, who's good and who to stay away from( no offense to some tunners) I know you got more connections than me Ricky you've always been real helpful. thanks man
