Nah, got a Enthuza XR Lightweight, I wanted a Borla dual tip sport but a couple days before I got paid to order one they stopped making them for my miata(nb generation) and had no more and since this Enthuza has a similar note to my old SS I got this one after finding a good price on it.

yea my balt was pretty loud, I had a zzp midlength header into the gm performance exhaust with no cat. Loved it, somewhat raspy but sounded good to my ears. The enthuza from the youtube clips I've heard should fit the bill.

What's a good price for an exhaust system? I plan on deleting my cats as I don't need them in this state. And I don't know anyone looking to get rid of their old exhaust setup or trade me theirs for my stock one.

Prices vary, I was fortunate enough to be in a group back in the day and I got deals on 2nd hand parts. I paid maybe $70 for the header and DP. My SS already had the upgraded Performance exhaust from the dealer so all I had to do was bolt up the header.

I don't have a wingless trunk, but I do have a Tjin I'll sell. But it won't be cheap.

If I go catless, is there a way to avoid needing simulators? BC as you know sc doesn't require emissions testing.

O2 sims, they trick the car into thinking they're working properly.

I have no idea what you're talking about. I had a catless downpipe on my car for 45 thousand miles and had no 02 simulators. I had a TC, for whatever that's worth.

Was your check engine light on the whole time? Because you can't just run a car with no cats, the computer will throw codes.

The car needed a paint job and I didn't have money for an actual one. Went with plasti dip and just decided to have fun with it

I just tucked mine in and when I had a tune the o2 and code were tuned out. Had to do it a couple of times for it to stay off.

lol idk why i didnt come to that conclusion at first, its all coming together now, i guess if i go catless itd be dumb not to get a tune, but the only way id change my exhaust is if i swap my supercharger for a turbo setup, probably take the manifolds off a saab 9-3 and just buy some dinky turbo off ebay and fab up a turbo setup and ofcourse get it tuned.
