took the chrysler emblem off the trunk



Now trying to see what is a good way to remove the what I call Ghost residue. I used goo gone, even tried clay bar and elbow grease but nothing worked. Not noticeable in the pic but if you look in the lower left of the trunk I took the dealer decal off and it left similar residue behind you can see.

 

A little polish maybe?

hmm, polish might work. I only have wax though. I am off tomorrow so I'm going to run to autozone and see what they have. I did not want to use anything that might seal it because if you run fingers over it you feel the residue.

well for one this repair bill is killing me. and im afraid ill break something else and itll sit for another half a year lol. plus I just keep having horrid luck with this car. at this rate ill end up replacing the whole car.
