I hear ya on the storm. When I drove down on Friday, VA and NC were nothing but sun. Windows down, sunroof open.....good stuff. Then no sooner than I hit SC, it was rain, rain and more rain. My damn car was hyroplaning all over 95 anytime I went faster than 60. It was off and on......i'd go 80 for a little bit, then be forced to bring it down to 60 again every 15 min or so.

lol, no, it sure wasn't. I luckily made it here safe and sound though. The inside of my windshield fogged up with some weird film when I got down here though. My windows were half cracked and it was still kinda raining lightly.....I guess it had something to do with the humidity/moisture. Either way, it made seeing the road damn near impossible.

Yeah, we wanted to go to Myrtle... well atleast us younger peeps... all the older ones wanted to go to Virginia... they paid so I went with them!

Hey guys, just wondering if any of you would be interested in going to the drag strip this Wed. night in Roxboro, NC? I know it's kinda short notice(2 days) but me and some of my Audi/VW friends are going if it doesn't rain of course. I drive a 2006 Volkswagen GTI that I'm taking and my girl has a 2006 Cobalt SS but she will be riding with me this time. The track is about 25-30 mins from Downtown Durham and about 40-50 mins from Raleigh/Cary area. Gates open at 6:00 and close at 10:00. I plan on being there around between 7:00 and 7:30. Let me know if any of you guys that are close to RDU would like to go. Possibly meet up in Durham and cruise up there.

Lol I bet. It sucked b/c I put my defrosters on and nothing happened. Then I reached forward and rubbed my windshield with my finger and realized it was on the inside of my window.

Man, all the cars down here are shithouse. All i've seen is Donks, tacky ass trucks/SUV's and old busted late 80's asian sedans........all of which have giant fugly chrome wheels.
On a side note, the HOOOTTT ass Pac Sun girl in Bluffton today that I talked to drove a white 350Z....so that was refreshing. At least SOMEONE down owns a nice sport compact. Everyone else just has riced out, ballin shitmobiles.

Well........my ex who I thought was still maybe salvageable seems to be drifting further and further away by the day. I'm stuck here in SC at my rents house with nothing to do (at least till the weekend when I might go jet skiing on my uncles jet ski). My car is dirty as ******* even though I washed it before I came down on Friday.......
But im going to HUDDLE HOUSE for breakfast/lunch, so life isn't so bad afterall
