Gulf Coast ECOtecs
I have been there 100 times so no directions needed. We could probably roll over there in under 2 hours if you put me in the front with the radar detector.

I figured I better let you guys know how the '05 Redline is doing...
Well, thanks again for ZZPs support on this car...
I made over 320whp with this combo and 93 octane, then switched to 110 octane (because my ZZP stroker 2.3L has high compression) and made 351whp, I wanted more so we switched the fuel to E85 and the results are 365whp! When we address the fuel delivery demand we will push the car harder, 370+whp should be possible but for now I am stuck with a 2.6 pulley.
These numbers are pretty high considering it really is just a totally stock m62 blower. I was thinking it wouldnt be a bad idea to back these numbers up somewhere else, what does everyone else think?

I would love to get my hands on one of the Helix blowers, anyone know how to get one?
Current Mod list:
Here is a quick video Matt made for me
Here is the mod list:
ZZP spec shortblock
ZZP CAI
ZZP LS4 throttle body
Stock m62 supercharger with 2.9 pulley (to start with)
ZZP single pass intercooler
ZZP Stage 3 heat exchanger
ZZP stage 1 ported head with 78 lb valve springs
Comp cams custom ZZP camshafts
ZZP electric water pump kit
ZZP AC delete
79 lb injectors
ZZP stainless midlength 1 ž” header
ZZP shorty exhaust with Whisper resonator
ZZP Stage 4 clutch
Running on 93 octane

Dustin Look at ZZP AFR Im not trying to pick on you but i remember you saying 14.7 afr. But your **** will blow in 20 miles runing a WOT 14.7 afr zzp's tune is lean. Hell my 4 wheeler is lean but thats not something i have to drive to work everyday. 11.7 - 11.9 Ideal AFR = safe power

none accepted. i run above 18 lesn and goin 45 mins to work everyday, not to mention all the way to gulfport runnin 80 - 90 all the way there
look at what they are running too, 110 octane and e85. i have read many times on this site about 14.6 to 14.7 being a perfect afr. gm's stock tune at idle is 14.7 wot is 10.0 and cruising is 14.7. i know this bc i watched and learned how to read the wideband. so if gm puts it in their tune its gotta be safe. i will show u tomorrow ur stock redline is commanding 14.69971 afr. if i knew how to copy the screen from the computer to this website like u do i would have it up here. but even tunes from ottp are the same number.

If I remember right Adam's idle afr was around 14.7 on his current tune. That day I helped throw his wideband in is the day I noticed it.
WOT afr is totally different tho. If you're running 14.7 @ wot then get ready to say bye bye to #4!
I love that all out build zzp done. 357 whp on the stock m62 is amazing!

Yes, a tune will be needed dustin. All that extra air on stock tune wouldn't be good at all.
Track day sounds good to me. Are we talking a straightline or the curves tho?

6 speed conversion wouldn't really be needed seeing as how i doubt it'd get up that high....an stroker kit sitting at about 3k for the engine would be a waste i wasn't sayin do a LSJ track car just a track car
gotcha, well i got someone that has one in production as of right now. its a pos honda del slow with a b16a motor swap. the interior, a/c, pumps, heater, has been gutted. only thing left is just a motor and 1 seat. needs a turbo kit, coilovers, and a little motor work to be finished. has a shift kit on it too, just roll ur wrist and ur in gear.
for a naturally asperated fwd with no turbo its pretty fast, so we made it even lighter by taking out everything we could. then 9k rev limiter too. and vtec doesnt kick in till 6k so that 3k ur making all kinds of awesome ass power from a small ass motor.
if you guys are serious about making a club track car im game. but if you want it to be a good track car and easy and cheap to work on i wouldn't use a chevy. it would take way to much money to fix one up for auto x or track racing. but if it makes you feel any better i wouldn't use a honda either. i would try to find a 4wd car like an old suby or something. or a older rwd car. nissan 240 or a z or something. and i really hate to say this but the best car for the money to put on a track is a mazda miata. i have seen stock miatas beat stis and evos in auto x. i would just feel wrong pulling up to a race track in a miata with a big GCE decal on the side of it. even if it would beat everything on the track.
If we did do that it would have to be an ecotec to go along with our club. Just my .02 when I get out of college and get a good job I would have no problem dumping money into a car. As I already had planned to buy another truck and turn the ion into a track beast with huge gce stickers all over it.
