Yeah but it's not exactly organized. I'm entirely too busy with work, helping ya'll (and myself) with car stuff, and the unofficial wife to plan this by myself. It's pretty sad because that's the only reason it hasn't happened yet.
I can't do it all by myself guys
SSgurl, we will try to get something together. We all definitely want to do it that's for sure.

Trey you know all you have to do is pick up the phone and call and ask. Rusty called me the other day and asked for my brains and I helped to 100% of my abilities which wasn't much. Sorry rusty.

Where are we doing it Aaron?
Dustin, go ahead and jack the car up AS HIGH AS YOU CAN POSSIBLY GET IT. I recommend driving the car up on ramps, and then jacking the front of the car up a little more and sitting in on jack stands. DO NOT SUPPORT THE CAR UNDER THE FRONT ENGINE CRADLE. If at all possible, support it up on the sides. You can then take the front wheels off. You will need to tie up the radiator at the top and take off the radiator supports underneath. Umm... Remove the intake, head lights, the PCM(disconnect the battery first), and I took out the fuse box because it helps A LOT. If you don't feel comfortable doing it, then I will whenever I get there. Remove the plastics underneath on both sides. This is vital to removing the engine cradle.
You will need a way to support the engine FROM THE TOP OF THE ENGINE BAY. All engine/tranny mounts will be disconnected, but the engine needs to stay in the car. See if you can borrow or get an engine support that mounts across the top of each of the strut towers and connects to the engine hoist point.
That's pretty much where you can start. Whenever I get there, we will be able to jump right on removing the engine cradle and suspension parts. If we don't work Friday, then I will come down. If you have all of this stuff done, then it won't take NEAR as long. I will get there as early as I can, and we could probably knock it out before midnight. Yes, you will need transmission fluid. You will also need DOT3 brake fluid.

i am just goin to use royal purple tranny oil. i know they say that the gm is the best but i wont have time to wait and i dont want the dealership knowing what i am doing. dot3 brake oil is easy, and a freaking engin hoist is what i am missing. i am trying to think of a way to get something to use for it besides a chainfall which i dont have either. i got some rope and open rafters can hang it like that, not. i am goin to see about a chainfall and strap it to the 4x4's i have running across all the joices in the ceiling.
I use mobile one in mine the tranny requires a GL4 and mobile one is a GL5.
Trey dustin wanted to do it there so if you wanna drive to my crib and ride with me.
Or what do you recommend?

i dont have access to one, its the only thing my neighbor doesnt have. speakin of my neighbor, he will lend a hand and he's a mechanic, he was chicken to tackle the clutch on this car alone. but i told him that its fresh in trey's mind and he said he would lend us one. he's quick too, so i believe we will be ok trey. i wanted to do the install here just bc i dont want to get stranded with this clutch acting the way it does. i wouldnt dare try to drive there in my s-10, i'd deffinately blow an air bag.
omg i am a fn retard. i read that post wrong. i am thinkin u talkin about a motor hoist. little did i realize u was talkin bout oil. what a *******, lol.. sounds like mobile one it is. i will will see what they have down the street at pep girls.
say adam, found something on another thread u need to put on ur cut out, since it already sounds rediculious, this will even it out and make it sound awesome, lmao

lol. i just pulled the car in the garage and was looking at that. its only 4 bolts and the shock. i just figured out there was a clip that holds the shock in place so its easy as well.. i went and bought a 1 ton cumalong, i wish i had a chainfall but this will work decent. i might pull the bumper off again just so i dont **** it up anymore than what it is to get the ramps under it. i dont think the ramps will work anyways bc the car is too heavy. i think i tried them once before and they kept slidin back. but i will use the 2 small stands in the back and borrow my neighbors 2 big ones for the front. but i was worried about pulling the car in my garage and it slides in with no problem. just a bid tight like a virgin. but she is in. now can aaron pull his car in my garage, haha good luck buddy as i have the worlds trickiest driveway and even trickier garage. hahahaha
