Sounds sweet dude.
Kevin has an LT with a pretty good bit of work done to it.
GCE will hold annual meets where all the members on the entire Gulf Coast will meet in one place for a weekend. It's a requirement to make the annual meet. We'll probably hold some type of charity event on our annual meet to help out with the community. But we'll figure all that out when the times comes.

Good luck with the lambo doors and sound system. Be sure to post plenty of pictures when you get the work done
Indeed, it has begun! We're currently working on planning our first OFFICIAL meet. It will either be on a Saturday or a Sunday and everyone will know when and where it will be held well in advance. Currently, the member list is as follows:
Aaron
Trey
Kevin
Anthony
Rusty
Dan
Adam
I haven't recieved word from Richard, Destin, or Matt in quite a while. Guys, if you read this, let us know something. I also haven't got any word from the guy with the SS/TC in a very long time. As of right now, everyone on the list above has pictures uploaded on the myspace page. Dan, I just copied three from your regular myspace page and put them on their. Feel free to add to it.
Aaron gave up the responsibility of getting stickers, so I'm gonna give it a go and see if I can get some made. Length x Width will be 4" x 2" and will simply be GCE all caps. We all need to decide on what font we want. I would start by suggesting one I like but Anthony doesn't have Microsoft Word on his lap top. Anyone wanna make a suggestion? You can have any color you want, but personally I'll be going with a yellow sticker for my car.

First Official GCE Meet: USS Alabama
Alright everyone. I've been digging up information about our first meet that we've been talking about doing. I'm just gonna directly copy and paste the information from the battleship website and let you all read it for yourselves.
USS ALABAMA Battleship Memorial Park is open everyday except Christmas Day. From April through September the park is open from 8:00 am 6:00 pm and October through March 8:00 am 4:00 pm.
Groups should allow 2 2 1/2 hours for the self-guided tour. Once onboard, the group can enter gun turrets, view crews quarters, sick bay, an engine room and much more. There are 12 decks open for touring. The main deck of the Battleship is handicapped accessible. The group will also enjoy watching a 15 minute film in the Uptake Theater featuring former WWII USS ALABAMA crewmen. After touring the ALABAMA, head down to the 36,000 sq. ft. Aircraft Pavilion, dedicated to the 29 Medal of Honor recipients from the State of Alabama. In here, the group can view aircraft such as the A-12 Blackbird Spy Plane and a P51-D Mustang Redtail, the type of plane flown by the valiant Tuskegee Airmen. Then inspect other aircraft, a Vietnam PBR boat, and wonderful exhibits. Dont forget to take a ride on the Flight Simulator. Great for the young and young at heart! Submarine USS DRUM is your next stop, also designated a National Historic Landmark. She can be viewed from every vantage point, inside and out. Be sure to visit the inspiring Vietnam and Korean War Memorials also located in the park.
You do not need a reservation to visit Battleship Memorial Park, but advance notice is appreciated.
Groups of 10 or more qualify for a , non-commissionable admission fee per person. Qualified group tour escorts and bus drivers (2 comp per coach) are always admitted free with their groups paid admission. To receive this discount, we require that one person purchase tickets for the entire group. We accept cash, travelers checks, American Express, Visa, Mastercard, and Discover. We do not accept personal checks.
Group Rates 10 or more
Adult (12 and over) $10
Child (6-11) $5
Child (under 6) Free
Motorcoach parking is free and ample
I highlighted the more important tid-bits that would apply to us so you all wouldn't have to read through everything. From what I read on the website, only Cub/Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts can stay overnight, but I'm going to e-mail Karen Conner and talk to her about it. Notice that we can visit the battleship any day of the year. I'm going to pick a day around the end of January/beginning of February. That should give everyone plenty time to notify work and to save a little money for that day. If anyone needs help with paying then PM me and we can get something going.
Whenever I fully get the plans together then I'll pick a day. Here's what I was thinking:
Meet in Gulfport saturday/sunday morning around 10/11 a.m., have lunch, cruise over to Mobile/USS Alabama, tour the ship, take pictures, leave around 5:00 p.m., have dinner in the city, then cruise around and find some action.
If anyone has any better ideas then let's hear them!
