be real damn careful street racing in Charlotte in the near future... CharMeck/Highway Partol/DMV aren't messing around... the StoneCrest bust was just the first... and one of our own was in it...

they have started to crack down here in raleigh also............. a friend of mine just recivied a ticket because someone said he was street racing when he wasnt even on the raod at the time.......

 

Maybe this would be the perfect time to realize this is a bad idea and stop all together.

 

Oh I'm not gonna stop prowling the streets... but I don't plan on going to any "organized" events with a shitload of people anytime soon.

 

Just last night I saw three cars, an Evo, a S2000, and a RSX-S, get pulled over for street racing. My town just hired 7 more police officers for patrol and you can notice there are more out and about.

 

I agree I'm going to keep doing it too. Who do the cops think they are for trying to keep us from killing ourselves and innocent people? They're suck d*cks! F*cking BS!

a Camaro SS and a 03 Cobra got busted down the street from my house at 3am doing 140mph on M-59. From what I heard the Camaro was one ripped mother ****** with cams, head job, 100 dry shot and full header back exhaust system. Cobra was pushing 500whp.

I guess it took the cops like 5-10 minutes to track them down.. the Camaro gave it away when he started making noise even from a dig.. I happened to watch both fly by me like I wasn't even driving taking my girlfriend back to my place... cops followed a minute or two later totally wizzing by me. I **** my pants because all I seen was a sea of police lights.. I was like OMG they are pulling me over for my unpaid parking ticket...

I thought that was one of ours in that. Sucks too, b/c they said they thought HE organized some of the races. Yes, there were vehicles with "stolen" parts, cant know that one for sure since I wasnt there, and yeah, If they have proof of people racing, thats on them. But the part that really sucks is what kind of trouble is this goping to cause for the people who go to places like this just to meet others, and see what people are doing to their cars? There are official meets and shows, but not everyone has the time or money to go to them.
