when i first started tuning my car i was completely stock. I ran a 9.6ish or somthing, then i tuned it with no aftermarket peices, i got a 9 flat, then i put meth to it, and i got 8.8 and 8.7, and then i added the engine biuld, tranny build, all my other mods which were a 2.6 ported blower that i did my self, and everything else, and i spin all the way down the track lol. i mean i spun bad, i needed slicks, but anywho i had stage two axels on my car and i went through a set of 5 lol. they always snapped, thats actually how my car is totaled i was, well my friend sam andi were messing around, he owns a ss tc, and he wanted to see my car, so i let him drive it and i told him to get on it, we spun for jsut a second at 70ish, and took off, all of a sudden we felt vibration and grinding sound at 120ish 110ish and stopped and my axel snapped at the spindle lol.

 

Is that times in a 8th or a quarter? And damn so with my mods and your tune I should be able to beat tc's then right haha

 

the only thing i ever did was spin, and then when i fianlly caught traction i busted a axel. i race a 400hp ss camro tubed with the ls1 and stayed neck to neck, a raced a sti, evo, both were dynoed at 360ish tot he wheels and at a dig of course they would win, but at a rol i woul leave them, i couldnt race at 45 either i would spin. i would ahve to race at like 55 60ish and i would still spin a little, i also race a 460 whp srt4 and stayed with it, um more cars. If you came up here and hung out with all the guys out here, they would tell you how bad ass my car was. lol. i jsut tuned a 06 ss sc on meth and we raced a new jag v8 supercharged and we beat it by a car, we also race a 750gxr and we beat it by a fender. lol. if you want to talk to the guy his name is armyguy141. hes pretty cool.

 

So more then likely ill be beating tcs and others as well lol dude I'm excited haha, last time I was in louisville I got on the interstate and there was a guy driving a s2k and he said he had a cobalt at home lol you know who that might be? And yeah man that all sounds great!!! Can't wait to get the tune how much psi do you think I could run??

 

Yeah they are freaking stupid ..... I tuned that Balt actually bit I can only do a conservative tune because they hey stock plugs clogged air filter no exaust ad ic pump and so forth. They are all Honda guys and they have the Honda attitude lol

 

And I told them they need to get this sufffixed before I can add timing and start tuning tuning... But they were stupid and u can ask anybody from my thread or te louiseville thread about how stupid they are. They turboed the s2k and blew it up like a week later

I had low compression pistons so my 2.6 pushed 17 ... It pulled hard tho bro ..

I've tuned 4 tcs go to the Louisville thread and go to the last page one of the guys I tuned is on this thread. It should say tuned by chevycobaltss3

 

His clutch is out now lol. The other cars I've tuned that are tc models aren't on this forum I met them from driving lol... Of u have questions u can ask how good my tune is to the louiseville thread

Stock clutch can handl around 330 and torque is in the Sam area. But if u have a question I'm pretty sure he can help u

I read chevy tech that these clutches can handle up to. The torque is wut gets us. I also own a tc and a sc sc is totalled tho

any of you guys in knoxville? i'll be moving there next month and need to get some local forums for info on good machine shops and stuff. (i have some stuff that needs done and need to figure out if i should just leave everything at my current house and have the regular shop do it)

i was down there apartment searching today and at one of the places there was a red 05-07 ss sitting at one of the houses. looked stock from the exterior, i was sort of hoping the individual was on here so i could get info of the place itself. it was right off of i640 on washington pike NE

* on a side note, my boss is in nashville so i'll be traveling out there alot, but probably in a government vehicle and not the slobalt. it looked like alot of you guys were out of that area

 

Yeah there is several of us right here in the middle tn area lol at least 7 or 8, just estimate number, but so thats two so far that might get tuned any more lol

 

If u guys want. I'll tune you two each for 200 if u drive up here just in case we don't get 4 or more. And remember I can tune vettes silverados carmaros firebird and so forth so it's not just narrowed down to cobalts. There are more cars I can tune and if u want the car listings go to hptuners website and u will be able to see all the cars .. I've tunes two mustangs both were new Gens like. I think 08 07. Just letting you know
