Alright folks... lets get a meet together.

Preferably a weekend it sounds like.... I want to give everyone plenty of notice...

So.

August (minus the 15-19) I am getting my apartment. So any other time, just throw some ideas out there and we will get something going!

Maybe a park some BBQ, PICS, CRUISE... I dont' have many DYNO connections and hopefully my ******* HPT will be here by then too!

lmao...I don't know of any parks except for Jordan Lake....And I don't really go there...I'll do some research of the local area, and get back to ya....lol......

I might be down for driving up there on the weekend. Might even be able to pull some of the coby's in the area up there with me.

 

Make it happen... I want a big meet! Once we get a place setup... we will narrow down the details.... add other places if you think of them... I am new to the area so I'm not sure what is around!

What we need is an NC Cobalt site! Someone must be able to make something up. I like the name Carolina Cobalts from the other thread. It would be nice to have something like Triad F-Body does. Any thoughts?

Ive been to the Raleigh area about 3 times in the 5 years i have lived in Jacksonville, so im not familiar with where we could meet either. Im down for driving up there though. Ill try to research some places tomorrow at work.

I tried organizing a meet several months back, and I made it west of raleigh so the charlotte and surrounding peeps could show, but only like 4 people made it out. So if we make this meet farther from Raleigh, I doubt i'll make it unless there are many CONFIRMED people..

I will be gone at Busch Gardens the weekend of the ninth, and theres a car show in raleigh thats supposed to be pretty big on the 16th, the one supporting the Brandy Miller cancer fund. We will prob have 3 cars entered in that, but i have not been to one from this club before sooo.. eh =/

ALSO the grill 57 in Garner hosts a cruise-in the 3rd saturday of every month during the summers, and its basically all day the 16th, and also september 20th.


But Jordan lake is pretty fun, we used to jetski there alllllll the time. They have dedicated swimming and recreation areas. There is alligators there too =-P I've seen 'em!!!

Im usually fairly open on the weekends (sat, sun, and monday). Friday nights I work.

Im down for anywhere within an hour cruising time.

 

Would you perfer a forum or full website with a forum, my girlfriend is a wiz at HTML and I am decent at BBCode so it wouldnt be that hard to make either(very time consuming though) and if we make it a full website with a side of forum then who is going to front the cash to keep it running, you can make a forum and host it for free. I used to have a forum called tuner addiction long ago but it really didnt develope, if I have enough interest I will create another(NCcobalt related). 20 interested and atleast 3 willing to mod and I'll get to work on it.
