im going to need a couple days. i have to build the motor, intall the new clutch and flywheel and then install the turbo kit. i will need to modify my current cp so i can mount the bov and recirculate it

im throwing a p0107 code the first code with the whole in the intercooler was p0101 so does that mean the leak is in a different spot this time???

 

101 is a MAF code and 107 is a MAP code.

The causes of a low MAP sensor signal circuit (P0107) could be any of the following:

Bad MAP sensor
Open or short in the signal circuit
Open or short in the 5 Volt reference circuit
Ground circuit open or shorted
Bad PCM

 

Really? i went to autozone and got the free scan and on the slip it says map or maf. The boost levels are the same so im guessing your right damn maybe i should try to warranty this one.

 

If you have an RPD, the map wont read boost if its out. If its the MAF, it could be getting dirty from the holy intercooler.

 

Clean your sensors and check the connections. If its not that then I would warranty it. Im not a genious I just read up on the two different codes

 

Are there any symptoms your noticing or just the CEL?

 

i dont have an rpd but ill clean up the sensors and see what happens
no there is no symptoms just a CEL the car runs fine
