Sometimes mine does that too. I normally have to hold down the OBD2 together in order to get it to work. But you already know that from being in my car so much.

I think its the cable too. My tactrix cable worked fine in his car (no jiggling involved) on Fri night.

 

yeah its frekin wierd!! steve tried everything, what i dont get it the dlc plug part of the tactrix lights up and everything so its getting power through the cable. i almost think its the actual part that plugs into the DLC.

 

Hmm I dunno.Maybe try a new USB part of the cable?

 

Try a different USB Micro Cable too. More than likely you have one sitting around somewhere

 

ill have to see if i can find one that will work.

 

Most things that take USB take the same as the tactrix cable,Camera or phone.Try those out.Maybe you got a good plug but a bunk cable.If it doesnt work,ill come over and drop kick your cable and computer for you

I have already contacted vince about the issue. Should hear back my monday. Hes been working the past 6 days, so he might actually be taking a day off.

I think I may have figured it out..... or atleast another trouble shoot method

Try connecting to to another SS/TC, if it works on another one, your ECU is locked. Lets hope its not that.

 

It wouldnt even connect for code scan.It wasnt even detecting the car was there

 

yeah hopefully thats not it!! ill have to wait till i meet up with one of the guys with an SS/TC. vince will probably email back before that. lol!! And if it was locked how were you able to get into it?

 

we should have seen if my stuff would have connected to your car!

 

If the ECU is locked it will do this. Its like the ECU is cockblocking him
