He needs to find an aluminum welder for the intake and the charge pipe is steel so any place can do that.
How much power would you unlock with a tune on a stock LSJ with a CAI? I'm selling my stage 2 kit but if the gains from a tune are enough ill go that route.
He is going to try and find a 6 x 2.5 in section of steel pipe and a 4 x 3 in section of aluminum pipe along with rubber couplers. This will get him by until he can have it welded up.
Longer couplers? I believe the turbo is a 4" inlet and 2.5" outlet. Nick's intake is a 3" intake so he might want to see if he can get a 4" intake fabbed up for the car (even though that would require me to do a lot of retuning to even get the car to start because MAF skew would be at least +40% vs the 3" intake (cross sectional area of 4" pipe is 42% greater than cross sectional area of 3" pipe)
Yeah, it was the only thing they had at Lowe's which was remotely close to what I needed.
So my belt would slip only if I rev'd it hard,never slipped while wot in any gear,So put a new belt on it.Now slips so bad it only hits 5 psi,then put a new tensioner,same thing lol makes no sense.So tommorrow Im putting all my old stuff back on lol.
