I like my S3 6 puck, its quite nice, no bs involved, and minimal breakin is involved for these

My qualm is the fact that I've had terrible luck with SPEC and puck style clutches with my Camaro. Plus I do mostly city stop and go driving. Not worried about the stiff pedal.. More worried about the excessive wear associated with slight slipping on take off, parking, reverse etc.

FWIW, I thought I had killed the stocker... I adjusted driving habits, am just generally more mindful of the clutch and have smoothed out power delivery and she's holding better than ever. Just recently re-ran 60-100 times and the car is actually a smidge faster (additional fine tuning helps)

 

The stocker is pretty nice Im still happy with mine in my sedan

I hate my ***** full faced clutch. It grabs hard and can really take some abuse, but **** It drives so easy. My next clutch will def be a 6 puck! I enjoy the direct feel. Getting solid mounts really turned me on to it.. Uhh..

weird, maybe you need to try getting a stage 2 belt on (good luck lol) or an oversized tensioner

Maybe when I get into higher boost.. But as of right now it's 100% absent.

 

How does an 8200 RPM redline and 26* of timing grab you?

I am sure he will not need the full 8200 RPMs except at the track or raping some poor unsuspecting 600cc crotch rocket.

 

Yah I have torque steer, ask my wife. haha She was driving my car and before I tuned out the rich condition when planing the clutch out off of a light it bogged (due to rich condition) so she gave more gas, she burned out, it caught traction, and it torque steered into the lane next to us. haha

His car is going to be a beast. I need to get my issue fixed soon so he has some competition.

I will do 8200 RPM at 27* of timing just to one up you!
