So I made an interesting discovery, my vacuum sits at 10 when at idle. Normally its around 20-22 vacuum, could anyone help direct me to the source of my problem? Do I have a vacuum leak? I do cameras not cars I mean I'm pretty proficient with a car but you get the point. Also, where is my TPS so I can check to see if it's loose.

Also check your throttle body to see if its staying partially open.... A bad throttle body will throw all kinds of codes.

Ok stupid question here

Ok I got the stage 2 kit I have the hub 2.8 pulley the five pulley mounting screws the oversized tensioner pulley 60lbs injectors a new injector harness NGK v power spark plugs I also went ahead and got the dual by pass end plate

Ok so what else do I need I know a new mounting gasket for the blower and a second coolant reservoir for the heat exchanger....but is there a gasket behind the dual by pass endplate?

Guess I'm gonna have to buy my own cable if I ever expect to get my car fully tuned

On another note, I just changed my fuel filter for the first time at 100k

the gaskets are reusable....the blower-mannifold is a metal gasket with a molded in rubber seal, and the endplate is an oring style seal. you should not NEED to replace either of them unless u damage them.

If you do come on the 31st, know that I've never switched a tensioner pulley before (but I heard it's relatively easy). Hopefully someone else will be there that has done it before just in case.

Agreed, I had my blower off at least 5 or 6 times while I owned the car and never replaced the gasket.

Maybe a dumb question, but is you a/c on or off? When it's on your vac will be less at idle.

What code do you have that is telling you need to switch the TPS?

Also, from my understanding the TPS is inside the TB. The one at the pedal is just a pedal position sensor I thought... But I could be wrong. If you are having an issue with the TPS and now your vac is out of whack they may be related.

I think you have to do some grinding of the tensioner. I didnt think the oversized ones worked just by installing it.

The TPS is on the TB I was trying to hint at with with asking if hit throttle is slightly open. Rey (redferret) had this same issue, turned out it was his ecu... the TB is a common fix too. (When getting the tps error message.)

Ok. That is what I thought you were hinting. Just had to be clear.

P0507 - Idle Speed High
P2135 - Throttle Position (TP) Sensor 1-2 Correlation

Hmm I guess they do call the pedal sensor a throttle position sensor by the wording of this.

Something is going wrong with mine too but I am getting a P0121... I dont know why either. I logged all the damn throttle/pedal sensors and all are active with me pushing on the pdeal.. ugh.

I got the P0121 a loooong time ago, cleared it and never saw it again. My vacuum is due to my AC, thank you. My Pedal Actuating Accelerating Position Throttle Sensor thing is fine, looks brand new. So I'm assuming it's the TB or the sensor in it. I do recall my roommate spraying ass loads of TB cleaner in it once, and then I read the can and it said "Do not spray directly into Superchargers/Turbochargers" needless to say I never had him do that again. Since then I've always sprayed it onto a rag and cleaned it that way.

After reading up on some stuff I read somewhere on here that TB cleaner actually hurts the sensor so I just gotta find the damage and look up a part number then start shopping!
