Dude, we're doing a stage 2 install for Travis's car (injectors and pulley) at my place on July 31. If you can get yours by then we can probably nail both cars out. Maybe we can get a few extra hands, it has been a while since I touched a ss/sc.

Maybe, actually! I re-gapped my plugs to .030 and it seems to be running much smoother. I've been trying to be nice during these 115 degree days though.

 

I can make it run much smoother! And better! And Faster! Even in this heat the IAT2s dont get to dangerously high from what I have seen when tuning.

 

Well by smoother I mean I haven't been getting that weird-ass knocking / mis-firing / whatever it is noise as often. But I also never did pinpoint the cause either. Definitely isn't temp-related, it would do it anywhere from mid-winter to 120+.

I thought it may have been coils (maybe they are weak, I don't know), but I've never thrown a code. I can probably use new plugs as well. My biggest worry is still popping something bad and having the warranty denied.

 

If I can get the cash for the tune that fast I will be there Im dieing to get this **** installed right now...*Bad enough that the box its all in sleep on my bed last night covered up with a blacket and I slept on the couch*

 

Well we atleast need to log while I am there. Maybe I can pin point it? Maybe in the tune too? Who knows.

Absolutely, I would love to see what it looks like in HPT. Right now it's just the GMS1 tune. Of course, odds are nothing will show up. The whole watched pot never boiling thing. Haha

I am guessing your tune needs to be tweaked. I bet your trims are all out of whack or something.

 

Well at last check my LTFT is sitting at -8% from the KN intake I have, but it did this crap with the stock filter as well. No clue what the trims were back then, I didn't have a way to check them.

 

Hmmm... Well its worth a log atleast. If more comes about it then cool. If not, no biggie.
