I woke up at 7a to get a jump start on it just in case I had to buy a whole new caliper.. and to paint my buddy's rims. Brakes took my no more than 10 minutes when I found the problem, I did a massive face palm for about an hour.

I hate them too, I just wish I came stock with brembo brakes

I'm waiting for Kia to pull out the 2012 Forte turbo and I'll trade my whip in a heart beat.

Yessir, I'm really excited for that car if they turbo it.

I'm debating if I should buy the n/a 2.4 and buy a turbo kit for it, but it would then void the 100k mile warranty..

I'm running Raybestos, and they bite hard.

 

I've never personally driven a Kia, but I've heard nothing but horror stories about them...hahaha that's why I put the WTF face up

 

Yeah, their reputation for quality was **** until Hyundai bought them. Now pretty much every Kia is a re-badged, slightly cheaper (and in my opinion better-looking) Hyundai.

 

I like my girlfriends Koup. handles really well actually. doesnt have any ***** but its a pretty cool car.

Plasti-dipped my buddy's rims today, came out pretty good. I also played around with some of Photobucket's editing tools. I'm stuck with PB for now until I get my new computer.





Okay so lets get some Ideas of where to meet and take pictures and eat lunch/dinner tomorrow. Afternoon is probably best, sun wont be as hot and the light is better for photos. I live in Mesa and the only place I can think of to meet would be at MCC parking lot by the US-60

 

Not pleased with how my pictures turned out now that I see them bigger.. ******* photobucket murders my pictures.

 

I suggested 2 of ASU's parking garages last night. The Stadium Structure on Veterans Way has an alright view of the Stadium and we might be able to get some cool effects with the solar panels on the top. The second is the Packard Drive structure. We'll get a pretty cool view of the stadium/ A mountain that way.

 

I think I know my way to the Stadium, not really my turf so I'm unfamiliar lol. I'm okay with there, I'm sure ASU has some really cool spots. Guess I'll go wash and wax my car.

What time is the shoot tomorrow???

I want to go, but I can't really bail out of work until 4:00-4:15...and that's if I don't get caught up in something. It'd be nice to know what time we're meeting up for the shoot so I have time to wash of the Prescott dust from last weekend

~4:00pm is perfect. Gives me plenty of time to get some pictures before class @ 6:50 and it's really good light that time of day.

 

As cool as that might be, I have not seen a lot of info on this turbo setup. Lots of talk about it, but no hard facts of what motor or how much power.

On the other hand, the Ford Focus ST with a turbocharged direct injection motor making 247hp is already right around the corner. We've been shopping for a car recently and i have been in the Kia's, Hyundai's and Ford's (and Chevy Cruze), and the Ford has the current Kia beat. As such, i'm sure the Focus will be a couple grand more expensive than whatever this Kia might be.

We're getting very close to the 2012 model year, so i expect to hear some real facts from Kia soon.
