Got a fuel pressure tester today and it read 48psi base pressure, kind of a odd number, but that makes my 80s about 84lb/hr... So I will retune for that size and see if it helps my car run better. Since I will be hitting about 30 PSI that should make my injectors about 107lb/hr with the raised fuel pressure. Hope that is enough fuel.

Still having maf issues too.... Don't get how I get a maf performance code when I disabled it and use the map.

so upon closer inspection the header is actually rubbing the housing that the pipe goes into (see red arrow) and not the pipe itself so I can't rotate it out of the way



also tried beating the **** out of that piece but its pretty thick

looks like I'm gonna have a header for sale

No way... I am hoping the tune just still has to be closer... Since the BRFS kit messed with the fueling the error is off again...

 

This sucks I have always wanted a cobalt ss since the first day I saw one driving down the freeway and now that I have one I dont want it anymore

I think it has to do with model years because that pic I grabbed from the Garrett turbo kit install instructions for a Cobalt. Probably changed in 07...

I guess I can try and track down an LNF or LSJ setup if it'll work

Its the whole "grass is greener on the other side" concept. I am sure when I get rid of my 4 Door, and find the other car I want, it will be great the first few weeks.... then I will want something else.

 

That principal can be applied everywhere in life.

The last time I saw it there was chick with really BIG (.)(.)'s driving it...The next time you see it if you have free time follow the car..I have a extra key and alarm pad to the car

 

I miss my old four door the insurance gas payment were all cheaper

 

Im not saying that I dont like the car Im just getting tired of shifting and having to stop at EVERY damn gas station the car see's

 

I get about the same mileage as i did in my 2.4.
