Wednesday Thursday fooool!

I think I fixed the recirc at least... i boosted to 22 PSI today not WOT though. I'm still afraid to step on it all the way especially after how bad it misfired tonight.

Yah, we still have some stuff to correct. Dont run it too hard especially if its misfiring.

I looked at the tune and the cat efficient code and cat test is off.. IDK why the code keeps popping up. I am going to write entire when we tune next. If you feel anything let off, I dont want you to mistake the misfire for Knock and hurt something in the motor. I didnt see any knock when we tuned but that doesnt mean it didnt happen.

Next time, since I will have my new HPT pro box, I want to run you at 50:50. Since you said Trifecta had you at 17.5* @ 12.2 I want to be sure its nothing mechanical. Then we can leave your car 50:50 and we can put some TIMING to the car! Im thinking 22-24 if it can take it.

Like I said when we last tuned, you can mess around a little, just be careful and be smart.

Oh and I am still waiting on response from HPT about the IAT2 thing.

Edit:

Oh and I dont get why it does this after we are done tuning. It never acts like this while tuning.....

Ya this **** freaks me out too! I don't know if I'm going to keep my car tuned cuz if I'm not doing like 100mph in any gear I'm spiking at like 28 pounds and I just don't like thats good lol, I wanna be able to get on it whenever I please, now I can get on it only if I'm going fast enough Or my boost shoots through the roof, I don't think this tuning stuff is for me haha

I can dial it down for you, but your STFT's and LTFT's were at -.05 and no knock at all. Also if you would follow the principle of no Full throttling it 2nd gear and above below 3500 rpm's you would never see a spike like that. If you floor it at 60 mph in 5th on any tune you are gonna see a giant spike.

I know, and I'm not blaming you or anything like that, I appreciate what you did for sure. But I don't think I need it that high of boost, just personal preference for my self

It also seems like it wants to spike no matter what I do, I'd also like to get to use my other gears besides 3rd

Steves car did the same thing on my tune. A simple correction now (well last I checked) his car holds about 24psi instead of 27 like previous.

Hope someone close buys the HPT or I get 08 and 09 unlocked (by tuning more) because I will retune that for free for you to help out and ease your mind.

Or ship the cable to me drew

I'd like it to be like 21-22 psi, it scares me to run that much boost and now I'm actually scared to even get on it cuz everytime I do it's hitting over 25lbs

So his was doing the same? And he didn't like it or it's not supposed to?

Both, when we were tuning I dont remember seeing it hit that high. Then he texted me saying change it now! haha So I did. Should be one table that will corrects it. Nothing big.

Its just spiking though, not holding? Whats it holding at? Like Chris said, its just a one table correction. It didn't help that I tuned you at 3000 Ft . The closer to sea level elevation you go the more boost you will hit. I just literally change one number on it and its fixed.

Anyone have the fender clips??? I got a new left front fender liner in, but I don't have the clips and I didn't want to order them from RockAuto, cause they only had bags of 200. Anyone know if any of the dealers have 'em in stock?
