soooo a couple weeks ago I got my car detailed at a car wash...about a week later I notice that all 4 of my wheels are starting to peel

i have no idea if its from the detail but it seems awfully coincidental...

do you guys think I can just paint the wheels or would I have to scrape off all the old paint first?

 

where did you get it done at Jerry? i noticed the same thing. luckily i have 6 of the same wheel. so i can do two at a time.

the people working those gas station washes are usually brainless when it comes to their job, my mom paid 100 bucks to have her car detailed and i checked it out.. it was freakin awful, i was like ma you know i do this kind of stuff right??? she even comes out and talks to everyone while i do it

i do detail work on the side and its 130 interior/exterior depending on paint condition

 

yeah I paid 100 bucks too...I wish I could take it back now. the main reason I did it is because some guy at a body shop said they do a really good job with cleaning interiors. that wasn't so bad although it wasn't a huge improvement over what I did with my carpet shampoo'er(?)

they also put an ASSload of some type of tire shine-like stuff all over my engine bay

wont be doin that again, I'll stick with my $15 car washes going forward
