I normally use my 7mm mag but we've been scouting this bull for a week and he was ranging from 680 to 945 yards I my buddies 30-378 is dialed in his score starts at 300 yards and has 8 notches. The 8th one is 950 yards. I watched him for a few ours while he was walking io the canyon

 

Hours while he walked up the canyon finally bedding down at 630 yards watched him for another hour and he didn't move so I took 3 shots hitting him 2 times he walked 10 yards ad collapsed both shots missed the heart but totally annihilated his lungs

 

I would have dropped him in one shot... I thought you were better than that Nick.
