very easy.its the bottom pan that houses the fluid and filter.the side pan is the valve body and shift solenoids

meh, I would use GM dextron VI so you dont have to change as much.

Yes I am pretty sure I remember that is what ZZP recommended in there 4t45e built trannys. Thats auto right?

ok, just interesting the differences in suggested oil types. I, myself, would not use something that has way less detergenant and less viscosity. That just me though I guess. I dont want to change my oil and I would def not want to change my oil and tranny fluid.

Tyler make sure you ask the changing cycle they recommend for the oil.

ZZP doesn't even build them... they have a shop down the street that does. Hence why I went with IPT and ZZP also charges a lot more and has much less experience with the 4t45e. I'd much rather trust the guys who have been doing this all their lives who say not to use the Dexron 6 at all and if you are going to use a Dexron it should be 3.

I was not awarelol but I agree with Chris on the detergent part.I would much rather run Dexron 3 than motor oil.But that's just me.ATF for AT transmission

the fluids.he went with synthetic 5w-30.I'm hoping the converter likes motor oil.I'm wondering with it being thicker if it's gonna make the converter tighter.hopefully not.
