Just starting
getting the old one pulled.Diff carrier bearings hated life and commited suicide.So much play.
And a cell pick of the new wheels.They look so sick!

I need to get me a new tranny! I have LSD laying around for the new tranny install...
On a side note if anyone is interested, finally made it to the track last friday, long story short 3 runs in and they all sucked. Couldnt get under 15s.. I need practice launching on the new clutch, couldnt keep traction all through first. Not nearly good as id like it to be.. was hoping to at least get into the 13s.. although that was the first time for me racing on the track after all the mods.
Next up dyno, tranny, LSD, and slicks!
Heres one of the vids i had baddd wheel hop in first, chirped in 2nd and 3rd, trapped a 94mph with a 2.5 60' for a 15.2

I keep telling everyone my cars a factory freak when they think they can do the same mods I have and run the exact trap and ET I run.I dont know why my car runs as well as it does but it always has since birth.
Stephen:My trick for decent 60's on street tires is launch at 2200 rpm,all through out 1st gear, do not surpass 50% throttle.once you are out of 1st gear and in 2nd,hammer it.should net you a decent 60'.Also air down your tires and do a real nice burnout to clean off the tires and to warm em up a bit.Should get you into the low 14's atleast.

so got the trans swap done....gonna have to get it up and see what axle seal is now leaking. no big deal. probably a bigger hassle then its worth, but its only a 3 dollar part.
then MORE LOW!!!!!!! and balance and alignment!
