So was camera passenger in my buddys WS6 running against my other buddys Vortech SN95.
So 2 runs here.1 dig and 1 roll.Each car had a camera passenger.I just happened to have a legit camera with me. .So,after the second run, apparently a cop was tailing since the 1st run a ways back.After the 2nd run and I just turned the camera off,I look at the speed-o in the WS6 which was roughly around 125 mph.Just then,Jeff says cop.Sure as **** about 1/4 mile back,a car with red and blue's is coming towards us.Without thinking Jeff hits the brakes to about ~40 mph which a break in the median came up for opposing traffic to turn through and he whips the car through that and gets right back in it.The cop blazes past us at around ~100 mph as Jeff's car is midway through the turn and goes for ACES.So we pull into a parking lot thinking the cop probably called back up to look for us.We wait about 15 minutes and go back to Jeff's house.We put the car in the garage and shut it then go in the backyard and bullshit as we wait for Aces(he got pulled over).Apparently there was also a E46 M3 running with us too.Well Aces tells us he's done and headed back and that the cop was going to go talk to"the other car that got pulled over".We thought it was the bimmer.We walk back up front and the same cop that pulled Aces over is parked across the street and walking towards us.He somehow,at 100mph got Jeff's plate when he buzzed us at our u turn.So the cop was actually really cool and told him everything that could happen,but gave him a break,but sited Aces,in which he dropped it to a civil citation.Any who.on to the vidz.Enjoy.

Yeah.. the cops now have devices on their cars which will read them up to 6 license plates at a time..

 

thing is he was perpendicular to us.so either he has eagle vision or that device reads 180*

 

Yup, it reads both directions... it also will tell you the speed someone is going too. pretty crazy.

For those involed with FF ace's build, especially timing could you please either text or call me? I just need some tips as i couldnt really find the marks for tdc on the cam gears. Cars fine just wanting to re time to make sure. I got a P0017(cam sensor) code.

 

then you are doing it wrong man...every cam gear is cleary marked with INT and EXH or EXT. its stamped and shapes are made into the gear. it cant wear off or dissapear. unless the LNF gears are different.

 

Keep cranking it till you're able to see all the marks in the right spots. you have the timing cover off too?

 

being VVT you may need to pull the cam actuators off.I dunno though Ive never seen LNF/LE5/LAP cam gears.

 

I texted and helped him with pictures of what its supposed to look at.

 

I am hopefully signing the lease to this house tomorrow so I will be making an Ikea trip in the next week or two lol

Thanks for the help! Found out one of the rockers fell off and lifter snapped in half. No damage internally or in valvetrain. Ordering new parts

Went to QTI today...

Got there and Greg drove the car up and down the street a few times to see what the issue was... It seemed to hold up super well today compared to prior when tuning with Chris. 1st and 2nd seemed to be fine but 3rd is almost completely gone.

Put the car on the lift and he said it was a bit low and it was definitely burnt fluid. I could smell it 10 feet away from the car. Said it was already turning black too.

They used there $15,000 code scanner and every code popped up for the trans AND the engine... So they think I have a major electrical problem and that something is shorting out or i have a bad ground somewhere. I was told it could even be a fuse that's going out. Weird thing is that the cars drives perfectly fine (other than the trans issues) and I have no CEL at all. and when I use my code scanner it doesn't show a thing. Greg said that the one that I have doesnt show the stuff that his does and only show high volume things that are being repeated... They deleted the codes and they came right back on their scanner, still no CEL or anything on my scanner...

He recommended me to a shop down the street called AJ's guy didn't seem to understand that I wasn't having any issues with my car and I had no CEL and how there scanner was saying I had all these codes. Said he didn't have time to look at it after they pulled my car around... lol okay?

Either way Greg said I need to get my electrical fixed first before we can continue with my trans... FML.

I like how all of the sudden this happens when it hadn't happened before when I had the car their at the shop.. fishy fishy.

 

My scanner on HPT shows background codes if they have or have not hit... So I would have seen that. Um its all electrical? How is the trans fluid burnt? Electircal fire in the trans? Fishy for sure.
