it's time for you boys to get the license plate cover that doesn't allow cameras to get a clear shot.

They're all illegal now... My friend got pulled over with me in the car cause he had one on and the officer gave him a screwdriver and made hm take it off right there...
Spray on ones arn't illegal yet though. Dont know how well they work... any guinea pigs?
I have to go to court for the chandler and 56th one tomorrow, should be able to get it dismissed though.

Nothing works on license plates. Myth Busters Tested it.
But other news stations say differently.

DPS detective friend said they're not illegal. And, these new photo citations will not go on your Ins, or points on your license, so basicly if you can afford them, you can rack up many of these photo citations and just go pay them.

****** bullshit, **** DPS...money hungry little bitches

i notice unnecessary 'heavier than normal' in the middle of the day for no reason other than these retarded ass cameras

for someone that spends more than enough time in traffic, the slow down in traffic these are causing is highly annoying

Mark Location stores speed traps and other locations in memory.

Speed traps and camera locations are everywhere. It's a stretch of highway where they always sit, or it's a back road that quickly changes from 45 mph to 25 mph within a few hundred feet. You don't always remember, but now your PASSPORT 9500i will. The PASSPORT 9500i's "Mark Location" feature allows you to quickly store a specific location in memory. Simply tap the "Mark" button a couple of times and the 9500i will store this location in memory. The next time you approach this area, the PASSPORT 9500i will provide an alert well in advanced to remind you of the potential danger. This specific location reminder could keep you from being ambushed by instant-on radar or laser the next time you approach.
I'd be getting one, and marking every spot.

if you have a blackberry they have a program that will notify you of the upcomming "speed traps" I have to remember where I seen that. Going hunting. (I never got it cuz i dont like to pay for stuff if I dont have too)

Should be right back

Found it... it was actually live traffic cams.

What would it take to get a proposition on the ballot that outlaws photo radar traps? I'm sure it would pass because everyone hates those F***'n things

With the license plate covers. They are illegal if you can notice a difference of the original plate at 50ft. -This was told to me by a police officer in school

In regards to the plate they are also have a new law that passed about being able to see the state. If they can not see the state because you may have a license plate cover you get a TICKET and it will be removed on the spot.

Another way for them to make money.

About 2 months ago I made a thread about this. I got flashed on Rural by ASU. When I got the ticket in the mail I found the law stating that legally they have to come serve you in person so I ignored it. Yesterday a City of Tempe police officer came and served me my ticket. I have to pay an extra $26 for them coming out here but I don't care. At least those bastards had to go out of their way to get it to me. NEVER PAY THE TICKET UP FRONT. THEY MUST SERVE YOU PERSONALLY! They have 120 days to do so and if they don't then the ticket goes away.
