Retune and full exhaust. The gm one is way rich and have alot to be gained from. Exhaust is our biggest restriction. 2.5in for down to 2.8pulley or 270ish whp goal. 3in for 2.7 and under with 275+whp goal in mind.
Just so you know. The stock SC catback is 2.25. The inlet on the stock resonator is 2.25 as well as over the axle like mentioned above.

I used some flat angle from Home Depot, less then $3. I just eliminated my stock trans cooler, was in a rush, and it worked beautiful. I know for a fact ot worked cause after 1 or 2 hard WOT runs, the trans would bang bad from P-R-D. After this it completly stopped.
Now I've always like this style for the looks.

But not sure how well it performs. I know its used alot in the Hot Rod scene, but never researched a bunch. I"m thinking of something like this though in the fiances car cause the heat exchanger will have to take place of the trans cooler and I'll need to find a spot for the trans cooler.

familywagon, are you the man to go to for tuning LSJ's? I was gonna buy HPT but didn't wanna drop all that money if I didn't have to
Vince has been tuning mine and another LSJ down here with great results and I plan on working with Vince to show he's just as great an option for the LSJ then any HPT guy

But 274whp, 236wtq on the 1st initial tune with no retune yet or wideband hooked up. Rey's car has full bolt on's

might have just been some bad gas yesterday, i usually go with chevron and i got circle k gas before we came down there yesterday
