Oh yeah the ss s/c bumper is awesome... looking, other than that it just scrapes on the ground when you go over speed bumps.

and not the air dam for the radiator air

my friends redline that is all that scrapes is the air dam for radiator air , unless he runs over a parking block , lol

AZ is way too flat to worry about tearing your bumper up

just take a bit of caution when going over speed bumps and entrances to gas stations and stuff and you'll be good.

the lip on the SS/SC makes it sit just a little lower than mine but the only thing I ever scrape is the black piece that hangs down right behind the lower grill.

 

I have yet to scrap the actual bumper/extension. All I ever scrape is the black air dam on the heat exchangers.

 

Thats usually what I scrape too, but I just got done washing my car and the bottom of the bumper is all scraped up

 

If I dropped mine an inch or inch and a half (just enough for the rims to look good, and not a huge old gap), would I have problems?

How much have you guys dropped yours?

 

I raised my rear end about 1 inch by gutting it

 

You should be ok unless you put on a body kit or extensions.

Other than the multitude I saw this morning, today I spied with my little eye a blue ss/sc at the Tempe Autoplex around 6:00-ish (female driver), and a black (I think, it was too dark to tell for sure) ss/sc at Ray and Kyrene at 11:00 ish heading north...
