Saw a heavily striped yellow ss/sc today at the Doubletree on 44th and Van Buren this morning. Was there when I arrived at 7, and still there when I left at 9:30. Parked in a handicap spot.

stage 2 increases boost too... but it's safe. anything higher than stage 2 is a no-no.

There is nothing wrong with going with higher boost as long as you do supporting mods. There have already been alot of us to see the wrong way to do it

It's not really about the blown motors, because anyone who abuses their car will eventually blow their motor no matter what mods they are. In my opinion, there's no reason to run a 2.6 or 2.5" pulley. it overspins the blower and causes it to run so hot that you barely gain any HP, if any! how else do you explain steve's 2.7" pulley being faster than yours used to be with the 2.5?

Anyway, back on topic, i saw a black SS/SC on the 101 & Bell (west side) yesterday night around 6pm

^^ AUSTIN!! Should'nt you be workin hahahhaha. Anyway, austin is right. I had a 2.6 zzp on my car (1st motor) and 2.8s could keep up with me, keep in mind they had the same mods as me. Its not how much #'s of boost u can run, its how much power your motor is outputting. Running a 2.9 with 10:1's will feel like a 2.6 but without as many problems.

Like I said there is nothing wrong with going higher as long as there is supporting mods to go with it.

Probably the same guy that tried to race me and lost. He lives off Country Club just S. of Guad. If that is the car I am thinking of it has an "Intense Stage 3" badge on the trunk.

I saw a silver ss/sc on Broadway and 24th street last week at about 5:45am.
