I a getting my 3" mandrel bend exhaust put on tommrow morning (ExHondaMan should be getting one to with me)

And then I will go back to Firebird on Dec 2. My previous best there was 15.039@94mph with 2.3 60ft

My best in Ohio was 14.965@96

Any Cobalt owners want to go out there with me. Im about 90% sure I will be going.

 

I may show up. Dunno if I'll run though. I really don't like paying the extra 7 bucks to waste gas on Fireturd's ice-rink.

 

3" is to big , id stick with 2 1/2" unless your going drag racing only , and no street use

I might go and watch, but I don't think I'll race. It's so abusive.

 

I may be able to go and what that means is more pics ^^ or stable video just depends ... I doubt I will race unless more people say they will cus fireturd really turned me off

I don't think Firebird is an icerink....run at quaker city in Ohio my best 60' there was a 2.45 I got consistant 2.34's at Firbird and i launched the same way at Quaker. I will bring my video camera with me to the track also. I hope a couple of you would race. And to 97cavie there are a few dyno's that show a 3" is better even down low for our cars.

 

I have heard Speed World is a bit faster. Anyways, I'll be there especially if you get that exhaust. I want to hear it in person.

I might run. I'm not sure if I'm ready to or not. I'll figure it out by then.

 

That is the exhaust on my car....got it this morning. It's pretty deep cruising at 55 isn't that bad i still havn't heard it cruising at 75 though.


Speed world is to far for me...i am coming from about 5 miles south of Casa Grande...Firbird is right off I-10 for me. It's not worth driving to a track where i might or might not get 1-2 tenths faster.

 

ive ran identical times at both firebird and speed world


also gm is changing the grand am cup cars to 2 1/2" , and they are 3" now , there has to be a good reason why they are changing

 

Maybe because the exhaust they will run is the Corsa one they are starting to sell???

Im not sure but it would make sence advetising wise to put an exhuast they sell to there market on there cup car. I bet a lot of people would buy it for that fact alone.

WWho is Definatly going? I will be there with my wife in my 04 Silver Redline. Prob. around 6-6:30

 

ill be there , my friend was going to go with his blue 04 redline(37k) , but after a troublesome week with the car , he new has a brand new 05 , and has to break the motor


long story short on the 04 , he bought it used (obviously) , after driving it a couple day , it started loosing power , and started running rough set a cel P0300 cyl missfire , #1 plug lost is ground side electrode , repalced plugs , still lost power , saturn dealer couldnt figure it out and were DRAGGIN THEIR FEET at trying to fix it

so he got a new 05 instead , at the loss of the catback exhaust , short shifter , and drop springs the 04 had , LOL

they were on the car when he bough it

 

I suppose I'll be there as well. Still now sure about racing as of yet though.
